I understand why people choose Jordan as their GOAT, but at the same age as LeBron is now, he'd retired twice, failed as an exec and inserted himself into a lineup because that was by far the cheapest option, while also generating some ticket sales, but His Airness was grounded, nowhere near the same defender and not able to consistently score high volume. Kareem and Duncan were excellent in their mid to late 30s too, but neither of them looked this good. Jordan has the best peak I think that's without doubt even for me a huge LeBron fan, but age for age only Kareem and LeBron were crazy good from like 15-35 and LeBron 35+ has never been seen before. We're seeing it somewhat with guys like KD and Steph, but neither are clearly better than year 21 LeBron, plain and simple. Since year 3 he's been a top 5 player and he's retained elite status for longer than anyone, without interruption. The layers that he's added to his game should be studied by every player age 30 and up.

You weren’t there. Unless you saw a replay of his lips (when he said timeout), when he did the gesture doesn’t matter.

Only thing LBJ has is 3 seasons of AST over MJ's best (650) and 5 seasons of DRB over MJ's best (503), only because of position. MJ has 7 seasons of PTS over LBJ's best (2478), 7 seasons of ORB over LBJ's best (133), 9 seasons of STL over LBJ's best (177), 2 seasons of BLK over LBJ'S best (93) and LBJ avg a TO every 7,77 PTS vs a TO every 11,04 PTS for MJ with similar usage rates🤣

anyone here to hate on the in season tournament: don’t. if you don’t like it, pretend it’s a regular season game. it’s that simple. for us open minded fans, we can see the increased intensity and like the added stakes
