I remember 2k16 being free on PSN and that’s originally how I got into it. Made sure to get 17 the day it came out and it was easily sum of the most fun I’ve ever had playing and grinding a video game. The amount of builds you can use in that game was unmatched. Every game after that never felt the same this one was truly the best out of all of them. Only time I had fun after that was when the VC glitch came out in 2k19 and I abused tf out of it to buy mad packs in MyTeam

Ah, the last good 2K. Every mode had the same amount of love. MyCareer's story felt realistic and grounded. VC wasn't needed to boost your attributes, they were only needed for cosmetic items. Your grinding was actually rewarded and didn't feel draining. Rachel was still hosting 2KTV. Every 2K creator were genuinely doing it for fun and not for the money. The soundtrack was perfect. The shot meter was super accessible. Everyone played their role correctly in MyPark. Orange Juice was and still is the best MyCareer mechanic ever.
