Im a Celtics fan and im so glad he signed with us. One of the greatest sixth men ever and one of the most talented players ever. Kinda depressing that he was injured so much or he would have DESTROYED the record books

I just love how versatile he is, he can do pretty much everything a center needs to (rebound, defend, post game, passing, mid range shooting etc.) Even when he was injured he was such a good 6th man on the celtics and had such a connection with bird

Walton notably led the Portland Trail Blazers to their only championship in franchise history and would go on to win another championship with Larry Bird and the Boston Celtics. Probably top 5 greatest College basketball players ever.

This is going to show how old I am but my first favorite player as a kid was David Skywalker Thompson. When he ended up on the Nuggets that became my team and though I kind of drifted in and out I'm back with them these days. Having Joker will do that for a long lost fan. I heard that David Thompson could jump higher than anybody in basketball history and then I got to watch it for years. Drugs destroyed his career but it was good for a while.

1:08 absolutely mind blowing how he didn’t mention Pete Maravich! The pistol was him in college, pulling up from deep with no 3pt line!! if he had one when they played it would be like Ricky Hendersons stolen base record. Impossible to top. I think he already had his focus on one white boy so he lost track of the rest!

Rick Barry might have been one of the best basketball players of all time except for the tall man's injury curse. He was definitely the best passing big man of all time until the Joker and I loved his comeback with the Celtics where he got a title and sixth man of the year. If you're going to be a redhead white dude you should probably play for the Celtics. Also isn't Blake Griffin a redhead? He probably had more All-Star appearances but he never got a title. Bill Walton was dope.

You also have to consider Pete maravich as one of the best players in college basketball though I don't think his teams won any kind of titles. He did have the most points in college basketball history until Kaitlyn Clark. He still has it in the men's bracket and probably will for all time because of all of the one and done players. Actually now that there's nil there's probably going to be some challengers for his scoring record. Pistol Pete averaged 44 points per game from 1967 to 1970. Also Kareem wasn't the best college player that was Lew Alcindor. I think he changed his name right when he went to the pros but it might have been a senior year? I'm sure that Kareem and Bill Walton shared a lot of political and social ideas. I can see Bill Walton being more of a Martin Luther King guy and Kareem being more of a Malcolm x guy.. I miss Bill Walton. Come to think of it I miss Robin Williams too. Death sucks ass.
