Re More NBA in Europe, the NHL is miles ahead of overseas games and marketing. Also there are way more European Hockey players in North America and the number is growing in leaps and bounds. Remember the NHL roster sizes are double that of the NBA and so are the AHL farm teams where the players earn much more than in the G League.

Embid, Steph has been bad defensively. Even LeBron defense was not good on the perimeter, which is important for international games. Tatum struggled? What games were you watching?? He didn't play much and didn't get many touches. He was solid on the defense and was probably the best player in getting the rebounds, which is one of U.S A weaknesses. Even on the shooting %, he did better than Steph and Embid for the first 2 games. Kerr is just a stubborn coach, he played Steph a lot even he was struggling on both ends, he liked small ball even when U.S. obviously had problems in defense rebound. The same issue Kerr had in 2023 world cup, U.S. lost for 2 reasons: defense, and rebounds. He just loves small lineup

Odd conversation about Murray. No one mentioned injury. The Canadian coach said he's on a minutes restriction. He's clearly not healthy. He was injured over and over again last year--his career pattern--and was hurt during the playoffs. When he's healthy he's fire like he was in the bubble and during the Nuggets' chip run. The problem is he's rarely healthy. A 6'4" version of Embiid. And that's been true for years. Nuggets fans always hold our breathes with Murray waiting for the next injury. Fans in Denver are angry that he's even playing for Canada when he should be rehabbing.

You clearly hasn't watch Team Canada played since the U.S exhibition gm or else you would have known that both Kelly & Jamal are not starters. They have the best perimeter defense in the tournament so far & Dort has been the best perimeter D in the tournament do far. The only issue with Canada in they lack size in the front court but Jordi, Canada's HC have really been good with the schemes so far to compensate for that. Jamal just need to give us 2 solid offensive gms when it matter b/c RJ, Brooks, Nehmbhard can step up to support Shai. The defense is Not an issue.

I have heard the Nuggets offered Murray a contract but there are clauses/stipulations in it based on him working out since he has a dad bod and is extremely out of shape. They play a small team Jrue will start in place of Tatum and JT will come off the bench. If it’s a bigger team Jrue will come off the bench and Tatum will start. 6-13 really isn’t atrocious. He does what he needs to do. Get to the paint and make layups over guys. He isn’t asked to take the final shot. Tatum fits his role well. KD fits his bench role perfectly. His chemistry with ant is great, and those other guys play better with those two.
