Almost a decade later, ABC World News Now came closest to this kind of style. It still exists to this day but it’s not quite the same when Aaron Brown and Lisa McCree anchored that show.

I love the set design. A functioning newsroom, no formal anchor desk per se, where the cube you can write and go live. Obviously it was complex technically for it's time. I am assuming that space was a working one.

At least, they had "News at Sunrise" and "Early Today". Can't believe that they announced, on the air, that "News Overnight" was cancelled. Today, u would scroll through the news feed to find out that ur favorite shows are cancelled.
