NBC's Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist: A Conversation with Stars and Creators at Paley Front Row 2020

Stars of NBC's Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist (Jane Levy, Skylar Astin, Alex Newell, John Clarence Stewart, Mary Steenburgen, Lauren Graham, and Peter Gallagher), along with creator Austin Winsberg and choreographer Mandy Moore, gather at Paley Front Row 2020 to celebrate their show. I recently caught up with "Zoey's" during lockdown and have become enamored with the show. This Q&A is one of the best I've seen; the moderator's questions were so insightful and thoughtful, and the cast's answers brought me to tears. I really loved Austin's explanation of the scene when Zoey had her dance with her Dad. I share his feelings about selfishly wishing I wasn't there while my Dad died because it was so painful and still haunts me to this day. I hope more people start watching this show, it's truly become one of my favorites!

I love these people and this show with all my heart. Music has always been an important tool in my life. When it comes to express my feeling for someone I appreciate or admire (like these amazing actors), I just can't find enough words so I go like "here, listen to this song because apparently this singer knows how I'm feeling better than myself". So Zoey's became almost like my show where the songs talk FOR them. Oh boy, I guess I need a song to express my feelings for them all. hahaha Congratulations, ZEP family! I love you

Now I understand why this show is soooo emotional and touching. Made and still making me to look at my family and time with them differently. Love this show. Plus the music numbers that producers pick are amazing. I can´t go a day without music in my ear, doesn´t matter if I am working or just walking, always have something playing. Or singing alone. Please please please keep this show running

I just recently got into this show. I do not usually enjoy musicals, but this was amazing. I would cry at least once per episode. Gave me all the feels. Also, was a very diverse and inclusive cast. I balled at the ASL dance number. So GOOD!
