Philadelphia mayor, officials talk response to East Coast earthquake

Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker was joined by police, emergency response and school officials Friday afternoon to discuss the city's response to an earthquake in New Jersey that rattled the region. Parker was thankful no injuries were reported in Philly and no municipal complex buildings appeared to be damaged.

Yup. We had an earthquake in 2017 and no one even felt it and the on in 2011 was bigger than this one and caused a little damage. It's scary if someone is experiencing it for the first time, but Philly has had recorded earthquakes as far back as 1700s. Now that we've had a bad storm, earthquake, and getting an eclipse 4/8/2024 all in one week's time, people think it's the end of the world.
