The bag was rigged, the “crew member” used the bag with the trap door which is where all the actual audience memories went and when Heidi pulled the envelopes out they were all the same memory on the inside that was pre-rigged prior , then the mentalist had the “crew-member” bring the bag back minutes later and dump the actual audience memories on the desk for Simon to see.

Then; When he holds the phone, he makes sure to hold it, so the battery level, which is in the top right corner, is clearly visible on outside of his hand, ensuring the camera can see that area. Then; The Wife likely has a tiny in ear microphone, which allows her to get instructions, from a third person, who can remotely relay the information to her.

I don't know why people deny the possibility of channeling. everyone has "psychic powers". it's just a matter of how connected you are to them (practice is possible). intuitive hits/gut feelings, maybe dream synchronicity, or synchronicity in your normal life are all forms of psychic communication & ability. what they did is wild though because it takes a lot of practice (or simply a lot of deconditioning) to be able to get that in tune again. For people skeptical of psychic ability because they "haven't" experienced it...here's some food for thought (first of all you're always being guided): how do you expect to realize your gifts when you can't even trust yourself to begin with?. i think there are 2 levels of the bucket. like the first level contain all the same context and the second level was mixed. So all of the envelope from the first level was setup by magicians. and the second level are from the audiences. So Heidi picked the envelope from the first level and Simon received audiences envelopes and all of them are different which is in the second level of the bucket. this is not mind reading but it is trick

The battery act is an easy trick. They must have agreed on a secret code based on the hand used to hold the phone (for example: left hand 0-50% / right hand 51-100%), and the number of fingers used to hold it (left hand with 4 fingers: 40%). He also taps the phone once with his left thumb (1.22”), this can mean “minus 1”, if the tap occurred on the right side it could mean “5 minus 1” (4), but it occurred on the left side (10 minus 1 = 9). Thus 40%+9%=49%. Mental connections don’t exist, it’s always a matter of hidden signals. As regards the memories act, it’s pretty clear that there were two different bags in the collecting bins, and one bag contained the ocean memory only. The bags have been switched before giving the card to Heidi.

This has to do with when the bucket was presented to her the bucket had only cards that were planted so no matter which card she would pick it would only have that same memory. Then when they emptied the bucket on table that was the actual bucket memory list from audience.

I was just saying if they had an audience member stand up taking credit for the message, it would make the trick much more believable and add an extra WOW factor. Although there are many different ways to force the prepared messages, I think in this case, they used a bucket that appears to have 2 bags in it. One filled with the prepared message and one with the audience messages. The "crew member" simply opens the prepped bag for Heidi and then switches back to the audience bag when dumping them on the desk (I believe you can see him start to flip the bags at 3:08 As for the phone battery life, not only could he have seen it when she handed him her phone (which was facing his direction), but he also had a fair bit of time to look at it once he had the phone. At that point, he probably had some kind of secret way to indicate the battery life to his partner, maybe through blinking his eyes or finger tapping or some other similar tactic. There's also been previous rumours released that sometimes a judge or Terry or even AGT staff are in on the trick.

you can see the trick clearly at 3.07: the lan with the basket clearly fumbles with the plastic bag (or pulsl a swotch), so actually, there are two bags in the basket: one with all the same memories, and another one with the memories as written by the audience. this explains why the duo did not do what all magicians would do: they woudl ask, and who wrote this memory down?.... they couldn't ask this question . I studied magic with my dad a long time ago, but my hands are not fast enough so i quit! but i still know the basics of ANY illusional act: always look at the other hand. ALWAYS! In thsi cae; don't look at the performers, or Heidi but at the man with the basket, he is 'the other hand'. Case closed

@@shuki1 I will have to check that out. There is no reason to have someone planted in the audience to put an envelope in the bin as they can just have it already seeded at the start of the act. They still would need to get their envelope chosen from all the others. A plant is usually used when you need a volunteer from the audience to be a part of the act. This is one of those tricks that is unfortunately too impossible which makes it very obvious how it's done.
