Without knowing the background, I'd be pissed at Frome. Knowing the background, however... Screw Rohan. Got pissy his dad wouldn't give him money, and abandoned his then GF when she was pregnant.

Imagine if the pregnancy never happened & Kapoor's send-off would be him changing hospital to be close to his son (whatever city it may have been) instead of death. But no, they had to make the son get the girl pregnant, disappear from the show with no good reason, & then make Kapoor suffer for years & dying without his friends, his real family, around him. Like, what in writing's name? No wonder the show didn't get renewed!

To be fair, Dr. Kapoor's actor needed to take care of his wife due to COVID so he left. I 100% think the writers had a plotline for Kapoor and his son to have a relationship again if the actor stayed on. Kapoor is still mentioned throughout the series which shows that writers indeed cared about Kapoor's actor and wished he was still on the show, but they went with what they had and it wouldn't make sense for Rohan to come back into the story if his dad is not present in the show.

Covid basically ruined the muscles in his heart. He survived a very risky surgery but then resigned out of nowhere when symptoms returned, died at home not long later.
