Charlie Shamp said September 26 2017 that Kamala would be handpicked as a pawn to trump president Trump in a future election and in the end she would be absolutely broken from this reality. And unfortunately, he had also shared back in 2019 that they will try to pull a “July 13th special” on her to divide the nation for racial and civil unrest and even that will not work because she will turn on her own party.

Thanks for chiming in. Europe is excellent. But it is like me weighing on the politics in Barcelona. And I’ve spent years in Spain. Yes totally agree the health care system here sucks. And there are more guns than people in the country. Some issues outsiders can’t understood, nor should they try too much because not within grasp. I’m an independent voter. I don’t like either candidate much. I don’t feel strongly on several issues that trump favors. I feel less strongly on the issues Harris favors regarding the economy. In the end, for me it will be a “menos mal”. And that is totally subjective. What I’m firmly against is this group of people that now dominate politics that pretend “to know” so much. In the average of polls, the last 16 show Harris in plus territory for the first time. Trump lags at -8%. Your assessment of 2016 is spot on. Clinton was viewed just as or almost as unfavorably as Trump. She was one of the best prepared candidates in history to be president (along with GHW), but never had the personal charm or cheerfulness of Bill Clinton or Obama, despite being associated with their administrations. I always got the feeling she was scolding someone.

The "issues most important to voters" is kind of scary. I think that when people express concern about the economy, they mean that prices are way higher than they were when Trump was president, which is true but kind of irrelevant. Prices will never return to 2019 levels for most things and neither candidate can make that happen. Re-electing Trump will not fix that issue, but people seem to think that it would.
