Those fireworks tips are terrible and amateurish. In Japan we can get fireworks at the grocery or any convenience store along with very popular strong alcohol beverages. They're not illegal at all because people here aren't irresponsible idiots. Here's how you properly enjoy fireworks safely. First clear the area immediately around the place you're setting off the fireworks of any leaves and such that might catch fire. You're not launching a missile, so you don't need to clear a huge area. Even a model rocket, you wouldn't need to clear more space than you would put a chair on. Also of course, make sure the area above you is clear. You don't want to launch fireworks into a tree or building. Burning down your house spoils the fun. Except for roman candles and sparklers for example which can be handheld, or the ones that spin on the ground, stabilize your fireworks with rocks or something else heavy, so they don't fall over while firing. Use a reliable lighter. The best is one of those stick lighters for barbecue pits and such. Light it and step away. Don't shoot yourself in the face. Sounds unnecessary to say, but I bet the folks at any ER in America will tell you otherwise. Have a bucket of water with you. After you fire each thing, put it in the water to extinguish it completely, so you can put it in the trash later safely. And that's pretty much it.

@@ileac7122 I was referring to how hard it is to watch people eating 22 things in 8 minutes for a contest knowing there are that many people starving to death around the world. Historically, many people have faced end-times similar to what the bible has described. Many civilizations have been lost - some in the name of God - but the world continued. My point is we have the power to do things but instead are choosing not to. I have been calling the cartoon WALL*E a documentary because that is what it's turning towards more and more. Everyone glued to their phone, stuffing their faces, oblivious to the world that is suffering, or unmoved to make different choices. I respect your religious freedom, but it would mean a lot more to see so many Christians making different choices instead of quoting bible scriptures, respectively. If there are so many Christians in our nation, I would hope they would refrain from this (and many other things) out of principle, as Jesus said, and set examples through role-modeling. But I see much less of that than bible scriptures being touted and even shaming people. Not you, I don't find your comment offensive at all, just sharing my general opinion. But sadly, many others are using the bible that way. The Revelations also say that most churches don't make the cut because they believe erroneously, only the Church of Philadelphia received Jesus' praise. For whatever that is worth.
