The economic impact of Mexico imports are beyond what you personally can or cannot survive without. Auto, electronics, medical equipment/machinery, oil, agricultural goods, it goes on. It touches more than what you personally choose to buy that stamps “made in Mexico”, it part of the wheels that turn the entire economy. We’re not talking about expensive eggs and sub for sausage kind of thing. If we already have the infrastructure to produce and source it in the states, it’d be less of a concern, but we don’t, at least not in the scale we need, and they’re not something you flip a switch and turn on overnight.
