Great point about contractors that will flood L.A. like a swarm of locust. People will be so desperate to rebuild that they will hire inexperienced and shady contractors who will cut corners and use poor quality material. Caveat emptor as the new home will likely not pass an inspection down the road when time comes to sell it (or, a lawsuit will result).

There's literally VIDEO of 2 different electrical towers with their base on fire where satelite imaging matches up with where these fires started. That's not to say an intelligent arsonist couldn't start a fire there to divert suspicion but there will be traces of any accelerant they used.
