My old lawyer was now the DA and my new lawyer got elected to the bench. I had a conflict of interest so they sent the AG to try my case, or someone from the office. Kamala was AG at the time. I owe her my sobriety. She sent me to rehab instead of jail and have been sober 10 years now. I owe her my life!❤

We learned our civil rights history and how the politicians brought lawsuits and jailed Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Also, I was chosen, as a representative of my school to go to a citizenship seminar in AK, in conjunction with the Federal government. They brought in one of the Iranian hostages to tell his story, they had examples of propaganda used to sway perceptions, explained Pravda and educated us on our system of government. I'm a college honors student of Middle Eastern studies, focusing on women. Interestingly enough, women in Iran before the Islamic Revolution had, in many ways, more equality than women in America do today. So, everything is relative.
