That pilot saved 38 people with that landing. It was nose diving before landing
@DougChurch-m8x18 күн бұрын
You also see that the jet cannot maintain speed at level flight. A plane that cant maintain speed stalls, the wing dips, and it falls from the sky. So you see at the beginning the plane diving for a bit. That was the pilot specifically doing that to gain speed. He was very skilled to get 400 miles across the Caspian sea, and very nearly managed to land with all passengers safe. But to get 400 miles across the sea, that was an amazing job.

It had vertical pitching & sideways yawing. It looks like they lost hydraulic control rather than engines like what you’d expect w/ a bird strike. The ground footage shows pitting & shrapnel damage in the mostly intact aft fuselage. There was already what appeared to be shrapnel damage to the wings in the inflight footage that also showed decompression. Putting that together, there was clearly some kind of explosion outside the plane that damaged the aft fuselage in flight causing puncturing the cabin, causing decompression, & severing the hydraulic lines impacting the steering of the plane. Birds don’t do that. The only ones saying its birds are the ones probably responsible
