I love these shows I was skeptical at first but after binge watching all the Chicago shows I fell in love with how real these actors portray their characters, the emotions the use in every scene and I just love everything about these shows. Not many shows can have an affect on people as these would and it’s amazing to see and be able to experience these types of shows 24/7. I’m definitely rewatching the whole series again and again

I was the same. I was adamant about not getting into anymore shows. But Fire drew me in. The heart, acting writing sucked me in. I wasn't a fan of Gabby so I loved the show even more after she left. Stellaride all the way

@@ejliason hell yes like I’m not afraid to admit I didn’t start watching the shows until 2019 because I had other shows I was watching. I had seen some clips and some episodes of PD and they were interesting but they didn’t pull me in because I didn’t understand them since I hadn’t seen previous episodes, but once I started all 3 shows I was undoubtedly hooked. Fire is my all time favorite show of the three hands down. I also agree with not liking Gabby, I liked her at first but the further into the show I got the more I didn’t like her. Stellaride and Brettsey all the way

Definitely the best shows on TV now! I didn't start watching until season 5 of CFD but I got hooked right away and binge watched every episode of CFD and CPD within a few months. I was lucky enough to see CPD filming last summer on the streets of Chicago. Hope to get that chance again in the fall.

The fact that fire. police and EMS are paid so poorly in the U.S. is an American thing. In Canada those professions are paid very good lower middle class wages. And the example of fire fighters having second jobs happens in Canada too, but because some want to because of the time off between shift rotations, some will do side hustles to keep busy, not because they need to, to make ends meet like so many have to in the U.S. Americans need to value their heroes more like they claim they do, and compensate them properly ie. a hell of a lot more than they currently do!!!

Even though they have had their issues, as Kelly says “We’ll work it out, we always do”. They have always found a way to get back together. I think their life as a married couple will be exciting, as they navigate their personal and professional lives. It can’t happen soon enough for me.

Secure people don’t need to tell them they can do it, they already know they can. That is why they make the perfect couple, they complete each other. She grounded him and gives him the stable love he never had in his life and he gives her belief in herself and the security of love unending. I love watching all the episodes, it’s my guilty pleasure.

@Ollie Boden no longer is Battalion Chief. He's been promoted to Deputy District Chief and Firehouse 51 is also been upgraded from a fire battalion HQ to a deputy district chief's HQ. Battalion 25 is now run by Chief Murphy out of Firehouse 19.
