Damar Hamlin playing 17 snaps last year was the equivalent to letting a handicapped kid score a TD before a high school football game. Making the CPOY into a pure injury award is dumb and will result in nothing more than a sentimental feel good award which is of no interest to 90% of football fans. Most improved player is much more interesting IMHO.

I think the media has handled the Rodgers absence even more horribly than the Jets. I know it's after the draft and free agency with months until the season, but a lack of stories doesn't make a non-story a story.

NFL Insider Suggests Jets QB Aaron Rodgers Is On Ayahuasca Trip This makes zero since to me. Why can't the Ayahuasca Trips happen anytime? He's giving up time during mandatory camp and around $100,000. Bull dodo. Why couldn't this Ayahuasca Trip happen during a more appropriate time. He could take the loss of $100,000 and use it to have complete control over the Ayahuasca Trip. Doesn't it make since he could completely control all aspects of his extracurricular activity. Did he pick his extracurricular activity over Jets football? If this is for personal yippee time, shame on him.
