@@SD-pb1ck Too true. I firmly believe that the Bruins could've done it if Bergeron wasn't so banged up. Separated shoulder,broken ribs and a partially collapsed lung. Ambulance took him straight to the hospital at the end of the game. Best face-off man at the time before that and to me,it cost them the Cup.

The Canes came at them full force and gave the B's all they could handle. Key to the win was persistence. Even when we couldn't get out of our own zone in the 1st period, they played their grinding style and capitalized when they got their chances, which was not often. Look at the shots on goal. Bruins were lucky tonight.

Agree, Rask won them that game, Canes should have had atleast 4 goals the way i saw it. Rask is playing out of his mind in net. Crazy to watch all the close saves and barages he upholds.

Well part of it is planned though. Under Cassidy, the Bruins defensive zone play has emphasized outward pushes. The puck is meant to be kept on the boards or at the point while giving no easy, open shots and allowing Rask the ability to cover angles more precisely. You can see it especially on the PK where they seem to operate a 1-1-2 arrangement rather than a box style that is common throughout the league. Really, I think the MVP for the Bruins has been the coach and his staff with a mild shout-out to the execs...

These refs suck. The goalie is out of the crese and there Defensemen pushed Debrusk into him and the puck went off there Dmen. how isn't that a goal?

I thought the same thing! More than the goalie was out of the crease. However, the announcers were saying the goalie needs to be able to make a play. But, wouldn't that be only if he was in the crease?

The weekend games were. I expect the complete finals will be. I think it has been this way for a couple decades where weekend, playoff hockey is on network TV while weekday, playoff hockey may but probably won't be on network TV.
