Never been more excited as a Bears fan to watch our offense lol Cutler, Forte and Marshall and Jeffrey is the closest I can think of in recent memory but I think our current offense will be better.

The NFL has done everything possible to ease their new diva into a position where they feel he can't possibly fail. The way the Bears organization and the league has catered for Caleb to succeed if he he fails to win consistently and doesn't win at least one Superbowl on his rookie contract it could be the biggest disaster in Chicago Sports history. In saying that this could also be one of greatest offenses in NFL history if everyone is on the same page from the lineman to the RBs to the WRs.

Why does everyone love Fields so much? Serious question. I was checked out for a several years when he was drafted and my young aon dragged me back in because of fields. Nothing he did on the field impressed me, except dor a few runs. Otherwise he always looked to lack confidence and panicked in the pocket.

@@dannyevilcat I mean was it his work ethic? Things he's said? His personality? All I saw was constant rbf. I don't get why some of the people that loved him don't like who they heard Caleb is.

@@pttthhh I really don't get it either, man. I think it was because he could pull an occasional highlight play out of his ass, which teased his potential to a QB starved franchise and it's meatball fans who thought he could still pull it all together and do it consistantly. I saw what you saw, a flawed QB with significant issues that he hadn't improved on in 3 seasons. Not everything was his fault, but he wasn't part of the solution either. Edit: Also, I speak like I'm not also a meatball Bears fan who 100% believes we'll win Super Bowls with Caleb.

@@dannyevilcat ha. I get it, I guess. I'm usually an optimist that has held out hope on a prospect forever, but didn't see it with him. Also in full meatball mode, but I truly believe everything looks different. Because it is.. I think.

They still talk about Luck and he’s been gone sometime. Generational and didn’t win anything. It takes talent around the QB. I know you guys don’t believe it but talent actually matters. Moreover, Justin had minimal talent around him like it or not.

I agree with you for sure that it takes both the QE being good and the team being good. However, the counterpoint is easily look at the Chiefs look at my homes. He notoriously doesn't have great weapons besides Kelce, It doesn't even really matter for them even this last year Kelce had it down here. The rest of his receiver is are pretty bad but they still win a super bowl

It’s both. Yes, Justin got a raw deal here in Chicago. However, if you watched the All-22, you’ll see there were several plays where he’ll skip over reads. It got even worse whenever he’d face a defense that played primarily zone coverage. Can’t tell you how many times I saw Justin skip over a wide open DJ Moore on a backside dig route or a slant pattern over the middle. Greg Cosell, an NFL film analyst, said that a QB either has the vision or he doesn’t. There is only so much coaching and a supporting cast can do if that’s the issue. If your QB doesn’t see the field, then he doesn’t see the field. As much as we’d hate to admit it, Justin was a bridge quarterback. He did and say everything right. It was a shame how things played out. I wish him nothing but the best and hope he thrives in Pittsburgh.

I am tired of hearing that Justin didn’t have as good a roster around him to be as good as Caleb. Justin isn’t even close to being as good as Caleb. You could put an all pro offensive roster around Justin and he still would not have been very good. He simply could not read the field, couldn’t find secondary open receivers and held on the ball too long among other things. Good guy , but we were not going anywhere with him.
