I was a big JF1 supporter, but he is gone now. CW is my QB now. I want him to succeed. It is ridiculous that people didn’t think he was going to struggle right off the bat. He has only taken a handful of snaps in his professional career. Patience is required just like any other young quarterback. If he came in there killing it, I would be worried about our defense. A Defense that is in my opinion very good.

The problem with 7-on-7 is the defense never plays honest because you never run the bal and technically it's 5 receivers vs 7 defenders because the Center and QB can't run routes (Yes, I know real football will be like this also)! The NFL is all about keeping the defenses out of alignment and honest. What good is an RPO or Play-Action to keep underneath coverage Linebackers from getting deep quicker than your cross route when it's a great deal of your offense and you can't even use it to exploit anything? 7-on-7 is so overrated for a defense anyways, they know it's always, PASS-PASS-PASS! I'm guessing Caleb was holding on to the ball because every player on defense knows it's a pass, so they are never out of alignment to get burned between zones, deep, or over the middle to allow for bigger throwing lanes! I can't imagine there were any throwing lanes when every defensive player knows for a fact it's a pass to 1 of 5 different eligible receivers! Don't get me wrong, it's awesome that the defense is playing well though!

All these excuses never worked for Justin Fields. Caleb Williams was the number 1 pick, it's reasonable to expect him to A) Not hold the ball, and B) Not throw the ball into non-existent windows. That's basic QB'ing that you learn in high school. Maybe it was nerves, but it should not happen at this level.

Yeah Jayden Daniels is also practicing against a Washington defense that Fields lit the fuck up. 😂

Commanders defense ranked dead last last year. This is not the flex you think it is. Big swing and a miss. Nice try though

Josh you are really going over the top. Your comments on "not like last year" are silly and uncalled for - move on already. Fields had the same receivers...and he did not "dirt" the ball nearly as much. Same defense btw. Stop the unnecessary and rude quips at Fields. Move on.

i mean, im glad JF is gone but it aint a good look when you have to go back and compare these OTAs to the JF OTAs, you are just reaching at this point, Just say Cale didnt look good and he needs to learn. Stop with the JF comparison, they drafted him to be better than JF, JF gone, move on.... Lets go Caleb, you are our QB, i am rooting for ya

@@jking440 Not really. Not to the extent where local media had to find a scapegoat. How about you guys just admit Williams needs development and that he isn't one of the 2 best QB's in the NFC North, much less a top 20 QB in the league.

@justsorandom764 a rookie that's never taken an NFL snap on Sundays needs more seasoning, this isn't breaking news. What matters is week 1. And you conveniently leave out Justin struggled in practice against this defense in year 3.

Shrock come on.. who is luke Getsy? Don't do that... yr 2 in luke getsy offense? He generational... luke getsy was no good... you know it... all he had was moore and kmet..he got just wat jf1 had Moore and kmet. Nate Davis missing he never showed up last yr... so... he wasn't there at this time last yr... and Bates for all we know can be just as good as Whitehair. Listen if he balling let's call it, if he ain't let's call that too
