I just recorded my upcoming single on a Kraken Mk. 1 using a 7-string tuned to Drop G. I think a lot of people sleep on this amp. It's voiced like a Blockletter thats more mid-forward, less fizzy, and has a drier saturation. It is hands down the best sounding amp I've owned. Go get one, you guys.

Okay this is actually my favorite riff so far. It's a beautiful mix of Monuments and Periphery. I can see this leading into a lofi break/build, and explode into a huge breakdown using the offbeat chugs/string scratches as the motif. At least that's how I would take it. Would love to see you revisit this in another TRT and expand it!

Nick, as a subscribed lover of your videos, I am constantly inspired by you in making music. I’ve played all instruments for years now but I lack knowledge in how to record things down. I’m just wondering if you can shed some light on the programs you use for your production and maybe the process of how you actually get each note you play into those programs. What cords you use, is your guitar plugged into your computer via a special cord, is it midi or just through that keyboard on your desk, etc. I would love to see a video on this process. Keep up the awesome work man love your videos.

Either mic your cab through your interface and then into your DAW. The best way is to get a reload box (Two Notes Captor) into your interface and then into your DAW with IRs instead of using a speaker cab. Can’t just hook your amp up to a plugin on your computer
@ThatBeTheQuestion6 ай бұрын
Not gonna lie, I think it would've been sick to repeat the first two notes on the bass at the second beat of bar five also on the first beat of that same bar, so there'd be a little bit of a bass "solo" there.
