OMG the Haggis one rocks my boat! we were up there last Oct/Nov/Dec did the outer Hebrides and bloody loved the place. we had it to ourselves almost, not many were mad enough to endure the storms. we had to hunker down in Stornoway one night as we had a big one come in from the Atlantic and we were up on the Butt of Lewis which would have been terrifying. love your enthusiasm x

@@TheUrbanMotorhome well we went out of season so things weren't running as they would a peak season. Best to ask the locals as you go. The place is stunning. I left a.piece of my heart there when we left it was a very solemn drive home. Walking on an empty beach that twinkled as if it was covered in gemstones in the morning sun because it was frozen solid was an experience. Can't wait for the vlogs but it will make me envious. Enjoy x

Daz, being keto is a real drag for a foodie, I have always said to my doctor that if I wasn't allowed to have veggies but was allowed rice, pasta, potatoes, bread and pastries, I would be the best patient ever and would no longer be diabetic. Even my hubby was also diabetic and his idea of a salad was meat, pork pies, hard boiled eggs, potato salad, coleslaw, crisps and not a hint of green leafy salad anywhere. It is really hard and I fight my inner food demons constantly. You cannot be a saint all the time, the occasional lapse is ok, don't beat yourself up x

It's not the "jocks" it's English people who bought their council house at a huge discount and have now sold it for a fortune and have now moved up to the Scottish highlands and bought somewhere cheap.
