The only reason Alabama “won” was because OU was forced to pitch and play defense in the rain. They scored exactly one run during the dry innings. OU was dominant and wins that game ten out of ten times on a dry field. Murphy knew, which is why he told his team to “dance” in the rain while he threw a 15 minute fit trying to force the game to continue. Wonder how he’d feel about rain in the 3rd game of the championship series this year. My guess is he’d want it put off, unless of course Alabama was batting

@@Kelseybracelets the rain had dissipated, as Patty knew it would. Alabama scored 4 of their 5 runs in that half inning and OU made their no only wild pitches and errors in that half inning. Whiney Murphy had them out there “dancing” for one reason, he knew it was their only chance. OU was the best team in 2012 and 2013. And 2016, 2017, 2021, 2022 and likely 2023. Patrick is still a whiner, Any trouble with Long Island, central arkie or Mtsu? I noticed Mizzou beat you 11-3 earlier this year. But yeah, 18 losses and you deserved that 5 seed and cakewalk. Like the 2012 “championship”.

@Horror Buff because it is illegal as a fielder to run out of your way and into the path of a runner, then clothesline or forearm check the runner before going to retrieve a hit ball. Bama sucks! Apparently, even the players of last season realize it, since 6 of them transferred out the day after getting beat out of the regionals last year.
