Coming from a Cards fan, Nebraska is a class act and sets the standard high for what volleyball is and should be. This was a special team. Lexi, especially is an exciting player and one of my favorites to watch. All the best to the future and Nebraska will be back on top of the volleyball world again soon enough.

I’ve never been a fan of Nebraska and it’s nothing personal because I always see them as the team to beat. Even though penn state is also #1 in their region, but I still see them as an underdog playing against Nebraska. Everyone’s betting that Nebraska would win it all this year. Seeing penn state beat Nebraska is kind of satisfying to me but in a grand scheme of things also feel sad for them. Lexi is arguably the best libero I’ve seen since Justine Wong Orantes, who also played at Nebraska under John Cook. Murray has improved all aspects of her game this year, especially passing. I really thought it was going to be Nebraska in 3 but penn state just kept pushing. However, it was clear in game 5 that Nebraska played like they have everything to lose because they do. Penn state played like they had nothing to lose and they took risks in their offense and that’s why Jess kept making her shots. Losing hurts. Reverse sweep is definitely a gut punch. One of the greatest comebacks of all times. One team had to lose tonight though. I’m sorry Nebraska. Congrats Penn state.

Good assessment. Tough to watch considering many of the Nebraska girls last game together....and no matter what anyone says....you always remember your last game a little more....because it is the last experienced memory together. Hopefully time is a healer and they will see the broader perspective of their fine careers down the road....Championship or not.

It’s definitely a memorable game. Yes it hurts for Nebraska now. But nobody should hold their heads down. The real winner of this is….volleyball in general.

Penn just decided to go off. Such a good match. Nebraska’s just could not close and opened the door for that momentum shift. But the story arc for any of the final 4 is phenomenal. So it is a tough to see great teams get knocked out even if you are not a huge fan ( like I only rooted for Nebraska this year cause imma huge Taylor landfair fan and if she could ever get an in system accurate set this yea- still waiting for this lol). But these teams have Been fantastic all year and great talent. The championship match is going to go 5 sets. it’s going to be a battle. They have a lot to play for!

We had so many freshman and first time starters playing this year and we never looked smooth this year with no chemistry so it was expected for us not to win this year but Nebraska entire team came back and they added power arm Taylor Landfair! & performed worse than last year! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽 Texas is reloading and we will be back but idk about Nebraska
