Venables needs to go, I've felt this during his first season, he is not head coach material. Don't use the portal as the excise, they had a two TD lead. Just like Riley, who I absolutely hated since his first second as HC, he does not know how to adjust, can't keep a lead. Going for two was dumb dumb dumb. In the second half there was nothing spectacular with the run game, and I felt 100% that Navy wasn't going to let a run go in. I would have been much more realistic to tie, and try for an OT victory. Gibbs and other coaches got fired for less. Good Defensive coach? Yes without question, but just not HC material. Perhaps I am spoiled by growing up in the Barry Switzer era, and getting a nice run with Bob too. But sorry to say, Brent isn't the guy
