This is to share my experience with NCC so far, and especially at All India Nau Sainik Camp, 2018!
Below I’ll explain further about All India Nau Sainik Camp:
During the camp, inter directorate competitions are conducted such as Ship Modeling, Firing/Shooting, Boat Pulling race, Drill parade with rifles, Semaphore - Naval signal communication, Whaler Boat rigging arrangements, Service exam (Written), Seamanship (Practical exams on bends, hitches, and knots) and health & hygiene (written & oral).
Besides these, there are competitions, such as Cultural, Best cadet, Overall Directorate.
During the camp cadets are onboard Naval Warships to get first-hand experience of Indian Navy. Visit the Naval War memorial, Warship Museum in Karwar is undertaken. Besides this, the Cadets also get involved in the community and social awareness. Several guest lectures and practical demos / Hands-on experience are being organized for the cadets during the camp.

Congratulations .... I m Nostalgic... Missing my ncc days - 2005-08 ..Got the golden opportunity to attend para trooper basic course and got the para wings ( 5 jumps )... Never attended nausainik camp but was best Cadet in pre nai sainik and A grade in C certificate...

Congratulations cadet captain it is the great achievement by you... Also your journey of the best cadet is very nostalgic to me.. As i was also the the winner of best cadet competition during RDC camp 2008 so this remides me my journey ... So again congratulations to you and keep it up

Jai hind mam. Mam i have a query regarding ncc(army wing) . Mam is it easy for me to join ncc in cu as btech cse student and does our training of ncc held during our classes of btech cse Or it will held at some other time... Please guide me mam 🙏🙏🙏

Hi, Hope this answers your questions: 1. You can use the entries other than the NCC entry, such as the SSC Tech, CDS, INET, AFCAT, etc. to get into Airforce and Navy even if you take up Army NCC. 2. They do, however the vacancies and the current status can only be confirmed by the university staff. 3. CU does provide numerous placement opportunities for CSE students. For specific questions regarding the same, you can try connecting with alumni on LinkedIn.

Mam..how to know where is the naval unit ncc in kerala,thrissur

Go through this website: indiancc.nic.in/how-to-join/ If it hasn't been stated on their website, you contact the concerned university or college to know whether they have an affiliation with a NCC Unit. Or as mentioned on this website, open vacancies are also an option if your desired university/ college doesn't have NCC. For that, you will have to check with the nearest NCC unit/ battalion/ squadron.

Hi Raj, You can contact your HOD and he/she shall give you the information for the ANO (Associate NCC Officer). From there on, you can join based on the availability of vacancies and other parameters.

If you don't have any NCC unit in your school/ college, then you can enquire about the same from any unit in the vicinity. They might be willing to give you an open vacancy.
