NCCBand plays "Radetzky March"

Under the direction of Cheryl Woldseth, the Nevada County Concert Band performs at the 3rd of 4 Picnic Pops Concerts, this one at Pioneer Park in Nevada City, California. The announcer is John Smiley.
"Radetzky March'" is composed by Johann Strauss, and arranged by Cheryl Woldseth.
This 7/22/2018 concert was themed "Episode 7: The Basses Strike Back," featuring great music that has stood the test of time - and can withstand remakes, sequels, and other pop-culture references. This episode refers to month #7 (July), with an obvious bow to the Stars Wars episode "The Empire Strikes Back."
In July, the NCCBand hosts a "musician invitational" event, and invites band/percussion players to join for the day (including a morning rehearsal and sheet music in advance). There were 52 guest musicians joining the 61 NCCBand members and 15 Band Hands at this event.
