Thank you Dr. Pam for your videos! They were perfect for the times I didn't want to use the app or a book, and you truly helped me understand the content better than both. Appreciate you. I took the NCE yesterday a week after my program was done, and I PASSED ON THE FIRST TRY :)

Dr Turner I am AMAZED by the way you educate Social Workers with the abundance of knowledge. I am so thankful for you. I just stumbled across your classes. I have looked at several people to assist with breaking down questions and I don’t like to compare as the goal is to educate Social Worker with passing our test and you cover all areas. I have not found anyone who covers so many areas like you do. You’re awesome. Thank you so much

I can't remember if this is the video where Dr. Pam stresses how important it is to know the Code of Ethics. Do you recommend studying the entire thing or are there particular sections that we should may more attention to?
@DrPamTurner2 жыл бұрын
Living by the code of ethics will save your career. Read all and apply it for the test as well as you future as a counselor

Dr. Pam, you spoke of a 4 hour session at the end of this video back from June 3 years ago. Is it possible to get a link for that video?

I thought for termination for services if they don’t pay you CAN terminate the counselor-client relationship if it is in your terms/agreement

I have a question, since 2020 has the rule changed on dating a client from 5 years to NEVER?????? That is what we were told in one of our classes in graduate school last year
@DrPamTurner Жыл бұрын

The only thing that makes the code of ethics questions difficult is the fact that you are expected to know which section these different codes come from. So you’re expected to know that do no harm is section A.1.a etc. I am making that generalized assumption because that’s the way it was on the CCE. I otherwise, knowing your code of ethics is the easy part.

I have never seen a question like that on the NCE exam, please share more?

Great information, but since when is 18 still considered a child and reportable to DCS? My law enforcement experience definitely considered 18 to be an adult and DCS would never take them.
