the syllabus can't be outdated. They adding more topics would only create a problem. i guess, rather giving students a choice to learn some soft skills parallely would be a great idea but core topics like math, physics, they need to be taught from the basics itself. Tho the research and practicals aspect is quite ducked up i agree...
