Ngl I get what you’re saying but man if I’m honest it’s extremely demotivating as a musician to see you pushing AI music so hard. I get it can be used as a tool, but you’ve shown how this shit can do most of the work with a tiny bit of know how. This isn’t supposed to come across as harsh but I feel like it’s easier to push AI when you’ve already made it and don’t have to worry about the whole career side of music anymore. For someone who’s working hard at their craft and seeing you basically advertise new ways for anyone to bypass the hard work makes me less motivated. Idk… I originally subbed to watch tutorials because you’ve clearly put a lot of work into getting extremely good at beatmaking, but a lot of the tutorials you’ve put out (a lot of the sample making ones for example) are made kind of pointless when the next video you put out is about an AI bot that can craft any kind of sample you specify. I think AI is inevitable too but I expected it to be pushed by the corporations and not the dudes I looked up to for music making

I appreciate your honesty and understand how this can be demotivating. As a musician allow me to share a perspective, and I’ll also make a video to elaborate on this as well. For starters, your God-given abilities as a musician can’t be replaced. No matter what technology comes out in the next 50 to 60 years, all technology derives from human creativity. It’s about finding more efficient ways to create what we desire. AI, like any tool, is intended to push the boundaries of what we can creatively achieve, making our work even better. I’ve made over 500 videos before mentioning AI in my workflow. This video isn’t about replacing the traditional skills but about exploring how we can use new tools to enhance our creativity. I think of AI as a way to expand our potential, not diminish it. Looking forward to discussing this further in my next video.
