Tony tended to pause when looking at *any* beautiful woman. The fact that Ziva was behaving in an intentionally sexual/flirty/teasing manner only aided in that aspect of his personality. Thus, I can't say whether he was attracted to her as an individual in the beginning; but, she definitely got his heart later. :)

With Kate he liked to get a rise out of her. But with Ziva it was different, he realized he certainly met his match cause she was the complete opposite of kate, which I think intrigued him. And he ended up falling in love with her and in the end they had a kid together.

There is an episode where there a young girl with long dark hair about 8-9yrs old I think and someone gives her something on her hand in the ncis headquarters and Tony is say at hus desk with ziva wearing a pale pink top and her hair in a ponytail, and she looks like she is going to cry and Tony glances worriedly at her and she walks away? do you have any idea what episode season and name of these questions are or not? xx

I hated Ziva in her first episode which is good because she was an outsider who was still blind to the failings of her father and Mossad. I just didn't like her in the same way I did Ellie when she joined. At the time I would have been happy if they had decided not to continue the character and replaced her with Paula Cassidy. Ultimately she got better as the season and seasons progressed, though I would have liked it better if they had made her earn Kate's old desk rather than giving it to her as I feel it would have made inclusion in the team feel more realistic considering when she arrived they were still grieving.

I think the first scene makes no sense with how Kate and DiNozzo actually interacted since they hated each other why the hell would he have fantasied about her? It just feels wrong, since there was nothing there to suggest he even liked her that way, especially since in season 2 she makes him think that he gave her the plague when he opened the letter, when only DiNozzo got it, making him believe that he killed her, she spends a lot of time in the first season acting like DiNozzo shouldn’t be competent since he was _only_ a Baltimore cop, (his job before NCIS) when she was on the presidential protection team, despite the fact that she failed to uncover an al Qaeda terrorist among the reporters despite being a ‘genius profiler,’ and she went to law school, and DiNozzo has a degree in physical education, because that clearly means he’s just a muscle-brained jock, and the show treats this like gospel truth time and time again, despite it only making sense as her perception of him, since later seasons demonstrate that when he can’t sleep he comes into work to do overtime on the team’s cases which by the way is unpaid work, whilst in the whole two seasons she’s alive she’s never depicted doing anything extra, and yet she and McGee are rewarded with positions on Gibbs’ team, even when it’s not his area of expertise, and her not having gone through basic training for the job, which leaves her constant sloppy profiling skills to fail time and time again, with her rampant unprofessionalism going unchecked with DiNozzo being written as more incompetent and unprofessional every episode of the show for the first two seasons to make her look better, the fact of the matter is she allowed her emotions and religion to cloud her judgement in multiple occasions, lied about having experience with fraud, since she was assigned to the protection detail, and if I’m remembering this correctly refused to acknowledge DiNozzo as a person when he told her she wasn’t the only profiler on the team, indicating that again he’s smarter than he’s given credit for by the writers, whom continuously make it seem like he’s flirting with women and going on dates during the earlier seasons that it literally makes no sense, since he’s supposed to be so dedicated to his work that he comes in after standard work hours to do unpaid work on the team’s cases, whenever he can’t sleep, which means he doesn’t date that many women, but the show contradicts itself constantly, and out of all of the original team he’s the least homophobic, since as a cop in the 90’s and working for the NCIS for two years prior to Kate and McGee joining the team, he would know that a coworker being presumed to be gay in that time period would have been treated most disgracefully, and despite actually being a civilian agency could have gotten someone like McGee thrown out due to don’t ask don’t tell despite him not actually being gay, and when a therapist involved with a case finds them wrestling over DiNozzo’s phone which he’d used to record McGee being making the most bizarre of faces due to his fear of heights, DiNozzo is the one who doesn’t react with what could only be described as horror for being perceived as gay by the therapist who assumed they were the gay couple scheduled to see him that day, McGee also chooses to mock DiNozzo alongside Gibbs and Kate when they are investigating the suicide of a trans person in the navy or was it the marines, shortly after they connected the eyes to said person and questioned them, since the fact that DiNozzo kissed the pre op transgender murderer of a coworker is hilarious because in McGee and Kate’s own words DiNozzo kissed an ***** (the bleeped part is the offensive word that transphobic people used which combined the pronouns for both biological genders,) and that’s apparently all that mattered about that case despite the fact that it’s perfectly clear to anyone with a functioning brain that said embezzling pre-op trans person had been clearly living as their true self for years since she’d been living as herself in housing close to the bases she was stationed at for years prior to faking her death, but no clearly it was because it was the perfect disguise Mr Transphobic, little Miss Transphobic, and Transphobic boss, it’s amazingly clear to me DiNozzo is really disgusted with himself because he kissed Pacci’s murderer and not because they were trans, I mean would you be comfortable knowing that you kissed the murderer of one of your boss’s friends especially since later on we would get episodes with flashbacks implying that at one point prior to season 1 he did have respect for him, then there was the addition of a runaway bride to his backstory which deepens the idea that he wouldn’t have been dating as often as it’s implied through the character’s behaviour and his lines in the script, then he was also linked to a military academy, and failing to save the life of a future firefighter’s little sister in a house fire which was possibly started by an arsonist but it’s been a while on that one, (I haven’t seen that one for at least a year,) several years after that in the chronological timeline of the show, there’s also his inconsistent age, since in an episode from May 2004 he’s stated to be 32 and later his star sign is revealed which revealed he was turning 33 that year, which makes him 30 in 2001 prior to joining NCIS, except he’s also stated to have been the pool champion at Baltimore PD for most of the 90’s when that’s clearly not the case since he’s also stated to have worked for other police departments before that, and based on his graduation year from college which would support the latter and not the former it’s not possible unless a novel or other book is published explaining away the inconsistencies in universe, of course then we move on to another major problem with another one of it’s characters Bishop the annoyingly quirky character who quickly conforms to societal pressure after one episode hand-waves them away because the audience didn’t like it, and her husband the criminally underused Jamie Bamber, whose character arc makes no gosh darn sense since at the end of the Airport episode he clearly loves her more than he did prior to it, and later on in the 13th season we’re supposed to believe that he cheated on her, a development that was clearly put in place because they wanted to stop signing pay checks for Jamie Bamber, and this stupid plot development isn’t turned into a clever plot twist where he wasn’t actually cheating on her, (especially since he seems disinterested in the person he’s supposedly cheating on her with,) when the 14th season rolled around he was nowhere in sight, because they got a divorce, and months later she’s dating Qasim and they’ve reached the point of marriage proposals all in the background, and then he dies in his second appearance in the show ever, and their relationship is explored a few episodes later after his death, so unless the narrative the show pushes isn’t what really happened since if they were really at the stage of marriage proposals they would have to have been dating months before that, in fact I refuse to believe that they weren’t dating when she was slamming him for cheating on her which was an out of character moment written by lazy people because all people who are married and work for the CIA have strained marriages, this entire plot development was made because of statistics, the show might actually have been improved if the roles were switched.
