NCL Food & Drinks Menus @ The Local Bar & Grill 24 Hour Restaurant on Norwegian Joy (4K)

NCL has one of the best 24/7 restaurants among all cruise lines in The Local Bar & Grill. Take a look to see what is on the Drinks & Food Menus for Breakfast, Lunch/Dinner & Late Night Snack. On some older NCL cruise ships they call this always open eatery O'Sheehan's. The Local has a nightly blue plate special entree. We thought the Shrimp Po' Boy was the tastiest of those offerings.
This was from our December 2019 Mexican Riviera cruise aboard the Norwegian Joy, and it seems that they used the same menu from the Bliss & other newer NCL ships.

Thanks for another great review! We have our first NCL cruise booked and we're trying to gain as much insight as possible about where and what to eat. NCL seems to be quite different from RCL as far as the Haven vs Sky Class. It was a bit of a shock to find out specialty dining is not included in the hefty Haven price. Star Class everything is included accept the Spa treatments.

I can see a huge difference between the food NCL and Carnival. I wish NCL still sailed out of Charleston.

Yup in terms of 24/7 eatery- the Local has an upper hand, though I must say Carnival's 24/7 pizza was pretty good. Thanks for commenting!

Any idea what type of free coffee they serve in The Local? I'm not a fan of Starbucks. Also what kind of coffee does your stateroom come with? Thanks for your video!

You're very welcome! It is regular coffee but at least is complimentary. There was no coffee maker in our balcony stateroom- although they might have it in the suites.

Yeah the atrium where they have a lot of guest-participation activities was right below the restaurant. It's usually pretty raucous until 11 PM or so.

Why there alot of people in the background day are to lound what is he saying what is he talking about there is alot of food to order on the menu to pick if you can't not finish the food live on your palates day will pick it up put in the trash can
