NCL| Is it expensive? What is free at sea? Let’s discuss!

NCL is our favorite cruiseline for value. We love free at sea and have saved hundreds compared with other cruiselines. We have sailed NCL, Disney, and Royal Caribbean. NCL has a beautiful fleet, great itineraries, and lots to do for all ages.

I priced an Alaska cruise in the Bliss with the free at see including free air for 2nd guest, and it was about $500.00 less than Princess with Princess Plus and the same $500.00 less than HAL with their All In package. Neither of those included air fare. By the way, my R/T air fare for 2 from Oklahoma City to Seattle is $549, which is too cheap to pass up. What I would do is fly in the day before, which they let you do, and stay at a hotel across from the airport. Then take Seattle Express to the pier, but on return, use NCL's shuttle to the airport. I don't care what airline, and If it's a day before, I don't have to worry about missing the ship. We're retired, so whatever return flight it is it's OK.

This is really good insight and a great tip with the shuttle. I totally agree on getting there early too. We took the shuttle to the airport on our last Royal Caribbean cruise and it was really easy but you just get there so early if your flight isn’t a morning one.
