True, a cruise is what you make it. Being at Sea is my favorite part. We love the ocean and seeing new places and trying new foods. Your Bruges was a highlight of our Getaway cruise last May. Want to go back.

We were on the Prima on the cruise after yours and the mini golf was still free. I think it should stay free. NCL has enough add-on charges! Thanks for another great post. Look forward to your next one.

As I'm considering a first cruise on NCL (after some 20 cruises on other companies), I'd be happy to learn which (potentially unexpected) add-on charges I should be most aware of - if you're willing to elaborate

@@sullanciri2002 Hello. Many of the add-ons are similar to other cruise lines (gratuities, room service delivery charge, canned sodas, etc.), but we have started noticing new things like more and more upcharge items on menus in the specialty dining restaurant s (steak in Le Bistro, lobster Thermidor in Le Bistro, even ice cream sundaes in O’Sheehans). Also, activities on some ships like on the Prima (go karts, mini-golf, darts, escape room, galaxy quest virtual games, bowling, skee ball, etc.). Expect higher prices than in the past on shore excursions, WiFi, spa thermal suite passes, and similar items. Many of the add-on costs are small like $10 here and $15 there and $25 here, but it adds up. We are sapphire on NCL, but lately we have been enjoying Virgin Voyages cruises where there are practically no ads-ons (gratuities, WiFi, all restaurants, water & sodas, specialty exercise classes are all included). Also, no kids. Anyway, have a fun 2023 and enjoy your cruise!

Entertaining video Bram. Waiting for part 2. Would you book a second cruise on this ship? Still not sure if we would like it. There are some realy cool places like the indulge food hall. But on the other hand the pool deck is not so nice because of the cart track. Or the prices for some things like dart are to expensive.
