Now that you've sailed on both the Prima and Viva, which do you prefer? I know they are sister ships. Any differences? Either one just seem better to you?

I was on Norwegian prima 6 months ago and I thought it was the worst cruise ship I've ever went on. I've been on six different cruises. The food wasn't that great the desserts get brought on board frozen and then defrosted. half the things on the ship did not work like the slides, water slides, miniature golf and game room all the onboard entertainment you could not see because there are too many people on the ship to be able to get a seat at any of the shows. You had to make reservations real far in advance. Never had to do that with any other ship before and this was a new ship. Lol

Production and editing quality is on point with this vid. You are getting really good at this! I'm not a cruiser and only have been on one NCL years ago an no plans to anytime soon. Not for sure why I stick around but I am! Keep it up!

Looks like a nice ship. Saying that NCL is always priced high and based on this video the majority of the attactions are further pay to play which makes it well into premium territory. The nickel and dining NCL is known for is very real here it seems.

Looking fabulous. You, the lady behind the camera😅, ( bonjour @Lauren ) and the ship. It looks like a place I could easily enjoy a week or a month of, money & time permitting. As a middle age person the idea of an exclusive ship within a ship is appealing. Not all of us want the excitement of party town or kids. Love kids of course but yep, I understand the mindset. This could be an excellent ship & line for someone looking for a 1st cruise between ghetto and ultra-luxury say silverseas type. Thanks J and Lauren. Enjoy your trip and time together. I'll be going on this ship in Feb 2024. The ship is beautiful and full of attractions. It's a newer ship and we paid for it $$$. The issue I have is after paying thousands to go it, hardly anything is complimentary. Our excursions were several hundred dollars more which is to be expected but on board there is an upcharge for everything and it looks like a mall on water. I hope we have a relaxing time and I'll check back in after we cruise on it.

NCL always nickel and dimes folk, although I'd probably pay for Vibe, or the Haven of course. In the spa, I wonder if they have the heated chases like they do on the Gem. Wish this ship was coming to NYC.

I'm not 6 minutes into the video and I'm shocked how much extra most of these activities are!! Nickle and Diming is right! $10 for minigolf? $8 for the motorcycle arcade game. And the escape room - Absolute Joke!!! I do get charging for the go-karts, "top golf", maybe that upside down VR ride/game.

Justin this was one of your top videos! The ship is absolutely gorgeous but very expensive. Seems you have to pay for almost every experience. I have only been on Celebrity and it was very nice but didn't have all of the bells and whistles. I was on the Carnival Destiny on my honeymoon in 1998 but have no memories of it. I am on the Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Sea ship now ! 7 years ago I was on the Norwegian 🚢 and stayed in the Haven! Best experience ever with the Butlers, check in process, special dining, private pools and vip access to the shows!

I love cruising. In fact, leaving again in a few weeks for Alaska this time. I have viewed MANY videos for different cruise ships, (mainly Norwegian as they are my favorite), and destinations for future trips. I must say, that I find your videos pleasing, and concise, with no extra "banter" trying to be funny or cute. The video work was smooth, annunciation was fantastic. Really a great job, well done. @@lawbinson I do! Norwegian has always been super to me. From my GREAT agent that I deal with solely, to the crews. 98% of the crew you see are respectful, kind, helpful and seem, at least publicly, happy to see and help you. Generally, less kids, (compared to other cruise lines), for this big kid to "compete" with as far as water slides, arcades, go kart racing, etc. I've never had a bad meal on board. In fact 2 of my favorite restaurants are Cagney's and Le Bistro, absolutely worth going to. They have an "Upgrade Bidding" system that is sent out to random(?) guests once you book a cabin, where you can bid on upgrading your cabin. I HIGHLY suggest doing this and going for the Haven Suites. Trust in that if you get in Haven, you'll always want Haven. Of all the great things to say, and believe me I can go on i detail, it really comes down to how we are treated on board, the customer service, etc. If you treat the crew with respect and just be nice, you will have the best time. I'm hoping for Europe/Med on my next cruise as well. Have a great time!!!

After being on the Escape this past year and dealing with the line ups and extra fees for everything I won’t be doing NCL again, this only reaffirms this thought by seeing smaller Sid Normans and Improv venues, really! 70 - 80 person capacity on a 3000+ ship, good luck getting in.
