I really enjoy how, Gen Silveria changes the context of political and racial correctness. He focused on the diversity of experience as a defining goal. The intel officer story was really awesome. She stood up and said in no small terms that the requirements to proceed haven’t been met. That is a healthy military environment. I was always happy to let my subordinates brief our command staff. Give them the opportunity to explain from their viewpoint what was happening. Could I brief, absolutely, but having guys/gals on the ground brief made their briefings more impactful.

@Jason Franklin got you, you are one those MAGAs spitting of someone who needs help, even a child. Go ahead, and make the world a place, where no one wants to live. And if you are really want to understand my words, please write me & I will respond in respectful manner, because my intention was not to hurt you, even if my words were cynical. But we need now, decency, respect (maybe some liberal opinions). Sorry, for my English, it is not my mother language.

I was touched by the speech given by LT. GENERAL JAY SILVEIRA in 2017 uploaded to KZbin by BBC news Japan, concerning the heartless racial words written on a bulletin board in the dormitory. There are lots of comments written in Japanese honoring LT. GENERAL JAY SILVEIRA’s speech. I felt LT. GENERAL JAY SILVEIRA is a great general and a wonderful teacher; a type of teacher and principal Japanese school needs at this present day. We need someone like LT. GENERAL JAY SILVEIRA in schools here in Japan! We need someone with a strong mind and determination, who could speak out loud to say what is wrong IS wrong. There would be fewer suicides of students, battered by bullying. Bullying at schools is getting out of hand in Japan. I wanted to leave my comments to send my respect and gratitude to LT. GENERAL "JAY SILVEIRA" for being humane and warm-hearted.

Yeah, that turned out to be a hoax. Those "heartless racial words" were written by the black "victim" himself. Looks like you and LT. GENERAL JAY SILVEIRA have a lot in common: neither of you have much discernment.

Your most powerful speech should be heard and honored by both Democrats and Republicans alike.Biden should have something similar.Has a good structural sound and meaning.(we have a better idea.)Doesn't sound out of reach and it's just what the political and social not to mention economic America needs right about now.

@Gengonglike Arbukle You must not have children. Behaviour is very biological. Culture is a product of the race. Though other races can adopt culture of another race it is not a natural thing. Often those who assimilate to a foreign culture feel as if they are being untrue to their own nature.

General Silveria since you don't know very much.....let me info you.... I was at DLI as a linguist....at USAFA prep and helped trained athletics there.....at he USAF Academy ..... class 09....... so when the US GOV decided to attack me in China in a way to blame it on the Chinese......especially using a remote brain interface (technology that doesn't officially exist) ...whats interesting is that your pyschologists design was worthless....the only effective part of the remote program is the 21-23 hours of sleep deprivation for the first 6 months---most people are dead in that time... the AI program can also lock onto and keep the brain in an angry mood the entire time which destroys the endocrine and nervous systems...however dedicated frequencies can also effect targeted organs......but its an AI program .....well I decided that if that's how the US wants to waste US treasure and resources I would oblige.....so general next time you give a motivational speech about leadership....I hope to see you on the battlefield....and guess what that technology lead.....is great since it was used in the 1970s upgraded and implemented in the 1980s... I out ran your trainers....out thought academy professors.......and now I am going to out train your military....a general who's balls never dropped wont last through my war

Three years ago this General dishonorably leaped to a bigoted belief that he had racists in his Corps of Cadets, when all he actually had was a liar. The lying cadet candidate claimed to have been the victim of racism when he himself had written the racist slurs; he should have been expelled from the Academy for violating the Cadet Code of Honor, which prohibits lying. And then this dishonorable General should have been ordered to apologize in person to the entire Corps of Cadets "on parade" for having accused their members of racism; then apologize in person to the assembled faculty and staff of the Academy; and then apologize at a formal news conference for having falsely accused members of the Corps of Cadets of racism. And then this General should have been forced to retire. Weak and dishonorable men, such as General Silveria, should never be allowed to serve in the armed forces.

You are completely correct, first names and informality in the Air Force was what I observed while my brother served in the Air Force even back in the 1980's...which is one of the many reasons those of us who served in the Army always refer to the Air Force as the "sister service" to the U.S. Postal Service...even the uniforms are similar:)
