Correction at 3:16 - As of 2024, the official Candidate Handbook states that "candidates who do not pass the NCMHCE must wait 30 days to retake the examination unless a longer time period between each retest is specifically directed by the state licensing agency."

The 3 month waiting period to re-take a failed exam is now 30 days. POST DATE 4 21 2024
