I wonder if it's possible to remove the 'tank tracks' in such a way that you can drive them as intended, but as a launcher Run at high speed with something like old cd's as the projectiles

Cool vid. I've wondered couple of times what the mechanics of an ATM would look like. Takes more space depth wise than I thought it would and didn't exactly thought of that complex mechanics either.

If someone still plays with these... The photodiodes on the wheels with the numbers (Dwheel timing) can be used to control when the valve solenoids are triggered. (Provided the timing is correct, but that is easy to do). He did pretty good at manual guessing activation.
@MrMacman9810 жыл бұрын
Ahh what you need is an accumulator on your vacuum lines. That way you won't completely lose the vacuum when you energise the solenoid!

Cool, love the mechanics!

Ed, the timing on the CDU begins from the last cassette holder, there are timing marks on the metal body just near the clips which clamp the last tray on to the other.

Set one up that just sits and constantly moves bills around a track :D Kinda like one of those big old things that run the ball bearing around the raceway endlessly

Off to the pub! Your shout mate haha! I'm a little intrigued by how the pneumatics works. I'd say timing is the key! You'd have a little arduino wouldn't you, get a read on the optical sensor to drive the solenoid valve and bypass the controller board.

You could make a cash sorting and holding system with that, make accounting a little easier.

Works just like it says in the service manual I got! It is hard to figure out how the belts work though.

If you start tearing a few of those mechanisms down I would be interested in a care package, I'm looking at some pneumatics, the vac pump and the motor if you're still up to sending people stuff.

you can try simply Commands by WFS_CMD_CDM_ DENOMINATE COUNT DISPENSE OPEN_SHUTTER WFS_EXEE_CDM_STARTDISPENSE or use CDM testing code . to test dispenser

I received an extra $20 bill once at an ATM. I called the number on the machine and left a message, thinking the bank or police would be contacting me it I didn't come clean. I never heard back from them.

Awesome stuff! Aussie Currency looks very colourful, Ours (US) is very bland and boring.. Think I've read somewhere its made of plastic? Seems logical in modern times both for endurance and security purposes.. Prob why our currency is so commonly counterfitted

Perhaps I am the only one surprised to see an i386 processor?
@Aussie5010 жыл бұрын
its not that surprising to see them in industrial equipment, Intel only discontinued them 4 years ago to force people into using a newer and better one based on a Pentium D. That little 386 has been known to boot an embedded copy of XP!. it took 15 mins to do so, but it worked!
@bsekisser10 жыл бұрын
to rephrase... I more expected a heafty microcontroller rather than a full blown processor... more needed support chips.
