I think that the optic is fined and its the rail that is crooked

Hopefully something works. If not, send it back and get a working one. I have 3 and have had many others over the years, so get a good one and it will work for years. Also, congrats on the new M&P!

Tried every slot. Got better but dot is currently centered at its max left setting. Will hit the range this weekend and go from there. May be a bad mount. May be my eyes. Only holes in paper will tell the truth. Will send back if it doesn't work out. Thanks. Great videos by the way.

+Lloyd B just out of curiosity. Is this your first red dot? If so, try looking at it with your other eye. You may have cross eye/hand dominance. I have left eye dominance and am right handed, so I constantly struggle with sights because I naturally see things at a poor angle.

Yes, first one. I'm right handed and left eye dominant. However, when I hold it up to my eye, it still doesn't move all the way center and also checked with left eye closed. Same results. Going to try it at the range this weekend. Already contacted seller for replacement just in case.

Just a follow up. Got my new optic today and everything zeroed up great. My first one was definitely defective. Thanks for your help.

Rail has slight anomalies if you mic most rails..there are anomalies on them all. I have been doing this for years and unless you machine the rail it will have slight changes in manufacturing/coating etc.....hope this helps

My gun shoots way to the left...I have the same optic. I want to adjust it so the dot is towards the left more but it literally stops right in the middle. I can move it to the right lots but no where left of the middle. What's wrong with it??????

I have a New Ruger PC Carbine 9mm and I have this exact red dot and same issue but mine is all the way to the right and wont windage left.

The idea of red dots are to get rid of iron sights. Not to use them together. Get some magpul flip up back up sights

As explained in the video, this was mounted to an airsoft gun and the iron sights used as a co-witness to demonstrate the anomaly. I’m a fan of magpul flip up sights too 👍🏼
