NCT(Neo Culture Technology) NCT is a 23-member group divided into four sub-units. The group consists of 23 member as of April 2021. This is my comment that you requested: As 3 fresh pair of ears who only discovered NCT for the first time, your assessment about them is SPOT ON. Yes “they are different” and yes “they do not sound like the ‘standard kpop music’ you’ve already heard before” why? because their trademark music is: being experimental and versatile - which means every song you will hear from them is always different one from the next and they produce hit songs in every genre possible including creating their own genre. In other words: they are in a league of their own. That said, salute to you for paying attention to the lyrics (which many reactors are lacking) since you finally got the message spot on in the second half of your reaction: this song is about them making their own music with no apologies to anyone, racing against themselves to the top without any need to race against others, and while there are many music bands/groups out there which many haters (who constantly mock NCT music) claim as being better, in the end: NCT owns the porsche. They names - taeyong (the leader) mark , Johnny, yuta, jaehyun, heachan,jungwoo,taeil,and doyoung. Nct 127 is a sub unit of NCT which contains 23 members (until they add more) taeyong is the leader of all 23 but there are 3 other sub units Nct dream- contains younger members, mark and haechan are in this group also Wayv- is the Chinese sub unit Nct u- is when selected members come together on a song if they fit the vibe of the song and there are times when all 23 members get an a song

It's Mark, most of the english foreigner fanboys are Mark biased because of how good he raps. Nct music is unique, it's not like any other music from kpop, because their group itself have unique concept : they have unlimited members. As of now they have 23 members as a whole, but they release mv and songs by unit. Nct 127, Nct dream, Nct U, and WayV. But y'all no need to worry memorizing all of them, just listen to their songs.
