the difference with taeil situation and other SM artists is that whenever SM artists got involved in a scandal, SM usually put them in a hiatus. it doesn't matter how long, sometimes it took just a few months, sometimes more than a year (take irene or lucas for example). but they will always comeback no matter what, seunghan from riize might've still been on hiatus but there's high chance that he will comeback in the future. however with taeil, he was immediately kicked out even before the rumours about his scandal came out. now ik SM has never tried to atleast defend their artists (rare occasions they did) but with how they handled this situation by not even trying to defend taeil or put him on hiatus, most people immediately assumed this scandal is true. SM kicking out taeil prove how serious the situation is and how high chances are he's guilty. maybe SM is trying to not get involved with the damage that he did ? who knows he's still technically under SM with his 7 years contract but it will be expiring soon so people are speculating that SM is waiting for it to expire so they don't have to pay any money to him. now idk if what taeil did is a breach of his contract otherwise SM will be able terminate it but as already mentioned, these are just speculations. the reasons why people aren't staying neutral is because this is sex crime case. people took the victim's side as most women (and some men too) are victims of SA. people idolized taeil, knowing he would do something like that is disgusting. especially since he was considered the most "innocent" and "chill" members of the group, he rarely talks and he's quiet most of the times. who would've expected he was like this irl ? anyways sorry for the long comment, if any of my facts are incorrect then pls educate me and let me know. this is coming from someone who has been an nctzen for 4 years btw, taeil was one of my fav members. i was always amazed by his vocals but in no way am i defending him. in cases like this, pls remember to choose your morals over kpop and do know that these idols are not your friends, you don't know them personally. thank you for reading this long comment, im sorry once again! :)

taeil has been under police investigation since june and in august they gave him and sm the notice and brought him in for questioning. this means they have something substantial against him, which is why we're not staying neutral. since theres a real victim who has taken this to police and not social media, its more serious than all the usual rumors that come out on twitter to defame them (which happens to nct constantly and sm does nothing). for this case i'll believe the victim until theres reason not to.

Honestly, 1:08-1:50, I taught I was the only one thinking and saying the same thing. Because we don't know all the facts as yet, so why should people otracize him and automatically say that he is guilty without proof or concrete evidence of whatever he has been accused of? *SIGH* People are just weird, and yes, I believe that if he has done it, he should be punished, but until proven guilty, he is innocent.

SM Entertainment actually hired a movie fight trainer and martial arts coach to teach the members of NCT-127 how to do the kicks, punches and use the nunchucks, etc. for their "Kick It" MV. If you really want to see how they filmed the MV and song, you should watch the behind the scenes of them recording "Kick It", kzbin.info/www/bejne/naeam6JuZb5-l9U, and the behind the scenes of them filming the MV, kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4CYhZdjmKl3Y6s. You will be even more impressed when you see how much work and detail went into this MV. This might even help you to get to know the members better because they will use their names in the English subs when the members do the behind-the-scenes interviews while filming. In the "Kick It" MV there are 9 members -- *Taeyong (leader of all of NCT, main rapper and dancer), Taeil (former member -- main vocalist), *Johnny (lead vocalist and sub-rapper), Yuta (lead vocalist), Doyoung (main vocalist), *Jaehyun (main vocalist and sub-rapper), Jungwoo (main vocalist), *Mark (main rapper and dancer) and Haechan (main vocalist). It's interesting how most people don't get all the references to Bruce Lee in "Kick It" (Chinese/Korean title "Hero"), even though everything is based on being like Bruce Lee -- hence why they say Bruce Lee like a hundred times in the song LOL -- and black and yellow are Bruce Lee's signature colors -- so, that is why "Kick It" used those colors. (Many say this MV reminds them of the Movie "Kill Bill," without realizing that movie is based on Bruce Lee-style action movies and is sort of a homage to Bruce Lee.) As you can see, part of the choreography where they rub their thumb on the side of their nose is done because it's a signature Bruce Lee move. Bruce Lee is a Chinese action hero, so even though this is one of the Korean sub-units of NCT, those are Chinese characters you see on the signs in the MV, etc. NCT -- which stands for Neo (a pop culture term that means new/original) Culture Technology -- currently has 26 members. And the group right now as a whole has 5 sub-units -- NCT-U, NCT-127, NCT-Dream, WayV and NCT-WISH. Therefore, their style is meant to be new and original with elements that embrace different cultures and technologies to create their sound. What you are struggling to put into words and categorize is just called NCT-style, they don't really have a traditional music style that you can attach to them. And, switching up the beat and style of the song in the middle of the song is pretty much how the majority of NCT songs are structured, as well as SM Entertainment's songs in general. It's kind of SM's signature style. You will hear that same thing happen in a lot of the songs you listen to from SM. NCT-127 is NCT's second sub-unit, which debuted in July 2016. NCT-127 currently has 9 or 10 members. This group is more of a fixed unit, so the member lineup stays the same most of the time. Plus, many members have attended international schools or lived abroad, so there are several members who are also *fluent in English, on top of speaking 2 or more other languages. NCT is a group that is constantly changing and rearranging its members and sound and we never know quite what to expect from them. With a concept that allows the members to rotate between sub-units, changing, adding and subtracting members depending on the concept and style of the group or song, you should never expect the same thing from them. You are better off always expecting something new, that somehow, also ends up sounding very much like NCT. LOL SM Entertainment is known for having some of the best dancers and singers in the industry. That is just a fact about the type of people SM selects to be a part of its company. You can't be an SM artist without having amazing singing and dance skills. That is why the company has gained the reputation as the vocal powerhouse of the industry, who also happens to have some of the industry's top dancers. SM is an expert at finding and developing the best singers and dancers in Kpop. NCT is SM's attempt at taking over the music industry around the world. SM's original goal was to eventually have NCT sub-units representing every major city in every country in the world. It has always been SM's plan to have world domination. That is why right now NCT-127 is the group that SM is using to try and get their foothold in the U.S. music market with all English versions of song like "Regular" and "Highway to Heaven" and collaborations with American artists such as Jason Derulo, as well as U.S. concert tours and promotional tours with the American media, etc., WayV produces songs in Mandarin and English and promotes in China and NCT-WISH is NCT's Japanese sub-unit that that produces songs in Korean and Japanese. So, this year is NCT's 8th anniversary, but debut dates are different for any number of members because it all depends on when they were added to the group. And many of the members of NCT actually became recognized by fans even before debut because they were part of SM's pre-debut group project called SMRookies (or the NCT-WISH members who were part of a reality survival show called LASTART), so SM did activities with several of the members before they debuted.

NCT-127's "Limitless" is also part of their dream concept. Everything NCT does is connected to their concept, which is all centered around dreams, dreaming or being in a dream state. I think the feeling your supposed to get from the MV is actually the feeling of being trapped in a dream and being in that foggy reality, in an in between state, when you are half in and half out of a dream. All of what you see happening is happening within a dream. What you just watched was the performance version of "Limitless," so you heard the song in Korean. There is no story because it is meant to just show off the choreography. But if you watch the original MV, which has more of a storyline, you will hear the song in Japanese. "Limitless" is one of NCT-127's Japanese songs. The vocal lineup and choreography is a little different in the Japanese version, because, for one, it features NCT-127's Japanese member Yuta slightly more prominently. (But Yuta is still doesn't have enough lines even in the Japanese version.) Fun fact: "Limitless" came out in January 2017 and it's Johnny's official debut in NCT and Doyoung's debut as a member of NCT-127 (Doyoung first debuted in "The 7th Sense" as a member of NCT-U, but he was not part of NCT-127's debut). So now NCT-127 has 10 members at this point. Yep, Taeyong's use of vocal fry is a unique part of this song. Taeyong has a full range when it comes to singing and rapping and it's one of the reasons why he gets so many lines in NCT and SuperM songs because they can do so much with his voice.
