it's definitely not just you, and i'm 100% sure it's intentional. SM has been trying to "disorient" people with their music for over a decade now xD or to put it another way, it's like they're redefining the limits and boundaries of music. it's not like i like every single song, but personally i'm an SM stan first and foremost because of their top-rate music and idols. ..anyway, I've been an SM stan since f(x) - so like over 10 years now - and I've gotta say, I think I've been completely "brainwashed" into their genre of music. like I find it so much harder to like songs without switchups now LOL they're often just so boring and lacking in comparison. my blood runs hot pink now for sure

nct songs first listen always throw the fans in loop...but in the end we settle dwn and see the beauty in the experimental song. Only the boys knows if they are being over worked...what is happening behind close doors we will nvr know ...but if u know they r working hard wld u not want to support them right now? The military is calling for the hyung line and Nct need to show they hv the power to keep the fans support and attention....always...so y wld some people think not supporting them is helping them...remember this is their career, it is how they make their living...show business is not like other job or career, support ur group while they are still ard.

Just coming from the NCT Nation concert, and this song is good, but in my personal opinion, Baggy Jeans, Pado, and Call D are more fun and interesting! Can't wait for you to react to those when they are officially released! Yes, some of the members ARE being overworked! Taeyong, for example, had like a 127 video shoot, practice for NCT concert (at least one 10+ hour practice), and fan calls with little sleep RIGHT before hopped a plane to the U.S., went straight to the K-con venue after getting off the plane, performed, hopped a plane in less than 24 hours, flew back to Korea, attended a fashion event, did a 16+ hour-long practice while having a fever and sore throat, dancing with a blanket because he was sick, having to go to the hospital briefly to get an IV, coming back to practice more, and do this concert all in the span of a few days. He KILLED every stage somehow! But he isn't the only one that's sick, I believe Renjun is sick for one, and some are injured, including Taeil, who couldn't even perform at the concert. You can tell that they are all exhausted, but they still performed like the professionals that they are. There were technical difficulties, and it ended up being a 5 hour concert, too. Anyway, I hope they can get some rest, but it looks like their schedules are still nonstop packed. While part of me is super excited for all that's coming, another part of me wishes they could delay some things a little to let everyone recover first. This is what those NCTzens who are concerned about their health are talking about. Anyway, enjoyed your reaction and look forward to more! Thanks!

I think they are packing this year because it is so close to enlistment time for Taeil and Taeyong. This song is very experimental, I can see how it isn't everyone's cup of tea. I fell in love with it immediately because they sampled Beethoven, and I loved the dichotomy of the two disparate styles of music within one track.

i think the song is very timely. they have been through a lot this year, so having a powerful song is kinda not fitting for now. idk its just my thought
