I feel u about WayV's Go Higher title. I like it bc WayV and there's a lot of fun parts, but something felt missing? But then literally ALL of the B-Sides, including Bandage (their anime ending song imo lmao [no it's not an ending song for an anime but it's put together just like one]), are, for some reason, all so much better than their title🥲❓️idgi...other than sm being sm...but fr Tempo, What a Good Time, Deep Ocean, Images, and Bandage are no-skips & are all higher quality songs so I hope you get a chance to listen to the whole Highest album soon❤❤ Thank u for your reaction as always Caitlin!!

The b sides in WayV's Japanese album are so so so good. One of their best albums so far. Go higher needs some time to get used to. I didn't quite get it at first, but now I'm kinda obsessed.

Don't worry about Go Higher, the rest of the album is gold! Deep Ocean and Bandage are my favorites!

I wish they would have kept flow of the first verse and bridge for Go Higher. It was very moody, a little 90s rap style.😭I feel like I understood what they wanted to go with the "go higher" phrase and brightening the sound but it seems so misplaced. HOWEVER, Deep Ocean and Images (b sides) have to be some of my favorite songs they've done sksksksks so can't wait to see what your thoughts on the album are if you do it!! Honestly the rest of the album is sooooo spotless.

they are in the middle of their tour. there's not a lot that they can do other than few appearances in Japan as WayV already did. They even have more performance in Japan (for promotions ofc) compared to aespa btw.

The title track of WayV's Japanese album is indeeed has many pro and contra but maybe you need to listen the whole album! Especially "Bandage"

To be honest, this song reminded me of the male version of I Got A Boy lmao. It's chaotic and makes you question it, but after a few times, it really grows on you. I'm still unsure about the chorus, but the song is pretty good and so experimental!!

Sister, we are on the same wavelength for SONGBIRD! THEY KILLED IT! (If only they have more of the ending… I’ll be one happier NCTzen) But for Go Higher though… I instantly, I mean, INSTANTLY on board from the first beats… I always do that Make A Wish head movement with it.

yay ty for reacting to wayv! they are working on another comeback ! Ngl i didn't like go higher at first, the other songs on the album are soo good though hope to see your reaction to it but the more I listen to go higher the more its been growing on me so I do like that song now but its definitely not my favourite from the album. Images, tempo and deep ocean are my faves!

as a wayv stan my opinion is The Highest as an album is sooo sick & Go Higher is my least favorite track. i don’t dislike it but with how great the other tracks are it coulda been a much cooler impact to have picked a different title song to promote cuz there’s multiple solid choices. hope you react to the rest cuz it really is a great mini all bsides are incredible it’s so impactful, upbeat, fun, sexy, it’s really solid and cool and also so different but still them you’d go crazy for sure hearing it, trust. (wow after reading the comments from wayzenni below i guess we all have the same opinion. go higher is good but it’s not wow, all the bsides though are.) they should have had a better title track to fit how great the rest of the album is. it is successful but it coulda been so much better with an insane banger to fit the rest of the songs and promote it well. it’s my least fave wayv title track but the album itself is so sick and i love it and am proud of them for yet again doing something unique and learning yet another language and killing it it’s really cool

YAY WAYV! Go Higher is probably my least favorite song on the album (faves are Deep Ocean and Images), but after seeing clips of it being performed in concert I have more appreciation for its fun energy. Like others have said, I hope you get around to checking out the bsides as well!

Caitlin you gotta check out the group One Or Eight! They just debuted with their single "Don't Tell Nobody" and their pre-debut song "Kawasaki" is amazing too! Their vibe is something I think you'd enjoy! Also, they're under the same company as XG! Hope you check them out!
