Punu Deka nct dream in korean is 엔시티 드림 or en-si-ti deu-rim so even if dream is one syllable in english, it’s two because in korean you can’t have 2 consonants after one another unless it’s the same one, or its at the end of the word. plus, to make the “d” noise in d-ream, it’s more of a duh so to make that noise you’d have to add “eu” at the end if that makes any sense :)

guys before you read this please know that i'm a nctzen and my favourite unit is dream. i stan them all but if you look carefully, when they're performing, they are stable, but have these struggles which is normal. what i mean is when they are singing/ rapping they breathe into the mic and you can hear it and that's ok, but, chenle has never had ANY of those. especially in this performance, he is so damn stable. they all are, but in this performance, chenle was outstanding because everything was perfect. stan chenle! stop sleeping on him!!
