i honestly recommend going through their discography chronologically! since they debuted so young dream has evolved so much since their debut and nothing is cooler than watching it happen in each release. plus i think listening to their older music will help you appreciate their newer works, dream()scape in comparison to chewing gum is literally night and day (literally). they sound completely different but the parallels in the story line are so interesting.

I think you could start around hot sauce album, since you said the younger stuff wouldn't appeal to you!! Also candy album around Christmas time would be absolutely perfect!! So atmospheric for the winter season 🫶🫶🫶

If you don't have the time for a chronological journey through all their albums I would say you have to hit some of their big moments: My First and Last - early Dream, and the first NCT unit's song to win on music shows. MV is of course great and but my fav is classic live stage is Dream Show Ver. Dance Practice. you'll get to appreciate their amazing choreo and Jaemin is back at this point. He missed the original MV/comeback due to a back injury. Go - a real change of pace for them and part of a group album where 127 and Dream kinda switched concepts We Go Up- the last big comeback before Mark "graduated" and was not part of Dream for the next couple albums. Boom - Their first comeback without Mark and a real time to show what they were capable of as 6. Hot Sauce - First comeback after graduation system was ended and Mark returned to Dream (never seen them so happy and full of power) And a double million seller album that made everybody sit up and take notice. Dream was now a permanent group and ready to take over the world. (Every comeback after this would be a multi million selling album. I think ISTJ sold over 4 mil) ISTJ - this album is the most recent other than Dream()cape which you already know. They won huge awards for this one and b-sides Poison and Like We Just Met became instant classics in the fandom. Another option- their live performances that they make as gifts: "Life Is Still Going On" and "ANL live clip, "It's Yours" Live clip, "Rewind" Live clip, "Be There For You" live clip. "Rainbow" Live stage , "Graduation" Special video I feel like you would really like those and it will give you a good feel for their b-sides. I hope that is helpful (sorry it's so long!) It's 1AM but i had to watch right away 😂 you seem to like their brighter songs? If so maybe you could react to an older release like We young and a more recent one like Beatbox or Hello future? We boom and Reload were released when Mark wasn't present and they were a bit darker in style (not very dark obv but more than the other albums) so happy to see you react to Dream!

Just so you know all of NCT have a 90s hiphop/r&b thing going on, like not all the songs obvs but there is a lot of 90s vibes but make it neo, you also see it in a bunch of MVs & styling choices (NCT also LOVES a switch up) @22:27 just Jisung every single day of his life, Chenle being his best friend is either fate being kind or cruel lmao, Jisung is the only member in all of NCT who cares about their 'idol image' & Zhong 'counts his pimples on live' Chenle does everything he can to antagonize him lol, "Jisung is fun to tease" - Chenle also dont worry about choosing a bias, one day one of em'll just grab you by the collar & say "Im your bias" & then youll know lol, all my biases are personality based but just one day Im calmly watching a vid & BAM bias established (I technically have 2 biases in dream but Chenle is just below Doyoung as ult bias in all of kpop, so Jaemin's bias status is firmly planted for dream lol)

ahhh yay so excited to see you do this video! mark's voice kills me so hard in this video specifically, I'm glad to hear you appreciate it as well. when I saw them live a few weeks ago chenle really blew me away with all of his live ad-libs which I think he really shows off in this video! would love to see you react to the graduation special video, it's probably my favorite emotional/slower song from them. I would totally recommend the candy album, not really christmas vibes but it's a fun mini-album overall and includes a few of my favorites (graduation and tangerine love)! if I can make another recommendation, the beatbox repackage is of course a longer album but it's a really great encapsulation of their different genres/strengths imo also, happy anniversary and happy thanksgiving tomorrow!

I think I've watched every single reaction to this killing voice, it's so fun and they show so much personality here. I think Jaemin is my Dream bias but I had a major epiphany about Chenle when I watched this for the first time, his voice is amazing and he's a big goof too.

haechan literally hardcarrying vocals here with how many high notes he's belting while also holding down every chorus but unfortunately very few reactors are appreciating him for it because y'all sadly have very limited or zero knowledge about vocals and vocal technique and get more swayed by pretty but ultimately very easy airy falsetto adlibs by chenle, and don't recognize how insanely strong haechan's voice and how his solid vocal technique allows him to belt crazy high notes! at the end of the day even professionals and vocal coaches have said that haechan has the best vocal technique in dream but i guess it's a fever dream to expect dreamzens and nctzens to give him the respect he deserves

Entonces porque comentas en cada video que Haechan es superior a cualquier miembro de Dream, nadie niega sus habilidades ni su talento, solo eres tu quien cree que si alagan y valoran a otros miembros y sus habilidades estan desmereciendo a Haechan cuando no es así. Tenes muy alterada la realidad, Dream es 7, si te consideras fan deberias de apoyar a todos por igual, o por lo menos no desprestigiarlos ni invalidar sus talentos. Nadie te dice que no tengas un bias ni que te tengan que gustar todos por igual, simplemente es respetarlos y saber que así como a ti te gusta Haechan al resto les pueden gustar los demás miembros.

Por cierto creo que deberias bajarle un poco a tu intensidad en las redes y salir a tocar pasto, en cada video de reacciones, shows en vivo, conciertos, o analisis siempre dejas comentarios, en los que no alagas a Haechan sino que practicamente son comentarios de odio hacia los demas miembros. Espero que lo que sea por lo que estes pasando o te paso, sea algo que ya no te afecte tenes mucho enojo y no creo que sea sano, con la cantidad de adoracion que tenes por tu bias se ve que sos alguien que puede albergar muchas cosas bonitas, no dejes que eso lindo que te genera se convierta en algo feo.

Haechan gets an insane amount of praise in reactions, everyone is always talking about how they love his voice, how good he sounds, how insane his belting is, so maybe actually listen when people compliment him? You'd notice it's very often and he ofc deserves it all, he's a top tier vocalist. But you just want him to get worshiped it seems, never enough for you huh? Renjun and Chenle are amazing main vocalists and just because Haechan is incredible doesn't mean they can't be someone's favourite or th they have to be complimented less. People like different things and can acknowledge a singer's abilities without making it their entire online personality. Renjun has my favourite voice in Dream, that doesn't mean I don't love the other members' voices too.

​@@laurainathunderstorm i'm sorry but have you been living under a ROCK?! haechan has NEVER, not even now, received as much praise for his vocals as he deserves! he's actually tremendously underrated and even now nctzens can't help themselves from constantly turning him into a joke, asd reducing him to a goofy jokester! you'll know what i'm talking about if you're ever on twitter, so please don't patronize me if all i'm asking for is haechan be respected as the best vocalist and vocal backbone of dream. This reactor is just ONE example of many who has the most flowery and exaggerated praise for chenle after every one of his simple airy falsetto adlibs, but it's RADIO SILENCE when haechan is displaying advanced vocal technique and belting some pretty amazing notes with his full chest like you have to willfully ignorant if you can't see a CLEAR difference in the way reactors are reacting! and i'm well within my right to call out such crazy disrespect towards one of the best vocalists in sm

​@@laurainathunderstorm also, i'd LOVE for you to tell me in which reactions "Haechan gets an insane amount of praise" btw💀 because from what i recall the ONLY reactors that show genuine appreciation and praise haechan's vocals the way he deserves are ACTUAL VOCAL COACHES! like when a pretty popular vocal coach on here (katriinka) reacted to dream's killing voice and constantly only specifically praised haechan's vocal TECHNIQUE whereas for the other 2 vocalists she highlighted their 'pretty tones' more because again she knows her vocals!!! and she can HEAR which of the 3 main vocalists has the best vocal technique! and it literally is not weird for wanting the best vocalist of the group to be respected as such btw; it is inevitable for comparisons to not exist when there are multiple members with the same position within a group- like for example nct 127 has doyoung who is considered to have the best vocal technique (after #he got ousted) and is respected as such even though the group has 3 main vocalists, exo has chen who is widely regarded as the best even with great vocalists like baekhyun and DO present! like that's ALL i want for haecahn too; to be respected as the best vocalist in dream because he is but sadly VERY VERY few nctzens actually do so
