I love how haechan isn't hesitant to admit that he feels sad not growing up with school friends, he mentioned it on ODG too, yet he's confident enough to say he doesn't regret becoming an artist. It speaks about how mature they have become in the recent years.

Debuting at a very young age is very hard and tiring for Dreamies at that time.they missed their school days and didn’t have friends except the members. But if we think about now, SM strategy was on point.They became really big and popular and also triple million sellers at the average age of 21 while the other idols are still in rookies days at that age and the fact that they don’t have to enlist even at their 10th anniversary.

damn when you mentioned their 10th anniversary, they're only 25 y/o 😭😭 considering that's still young. it's crazy when you think about it. when haechan said they're getting older, it's not about their age per se but it's about how long they've been in the industry. just imagine we're in a corporate world, to be in the company for 10 years are huge dedication for your work. meanwhile some people at 25 y/o is their debut age just like eric said... 🥲

Generally we always get to hear from celebrities that they regret this or that but i really love how Haechan said that he did feel sad that he didn't get to go school but he didn't regret it because being an idol is what more precious for him He is appreciating what he have!!!!

In the past, SM debuted them at a young age, getting a lot of negative responses and look now many agencies are following in SM's footsteps

I feel like it’s reasonable why there’s a lot of negative responses to SM debuting their artists at such a young age. The kpop idol life is difficult and the trainee lifestyle isn’t any easier. These children have to undergo such a tough lifestyle for a chance to even be considered for debut. They sacrificed their youth and many other things. In my opinion it’s unethical for children to be going through such things. I wish the other agencies would take a step back and realize that everything SM does not have to be followed. And. I wish SM would take in older kids instead of casting much younger ones (who sometimes are too young to make their own opinion/judgement for what they want to do in their life) I feel like it would be better to train and debut kids after they’re done with high school that way they can decide to be a trainee or go to uni or maybe they could be a trainee while also pursing uni.

@@jule4661 that is very true. And it’s not any better for children who didn’t get to debut. Lami and koeun (girls that could’ve been in aespa) trained for 10 years only for SM to disregard them. Their childhood gone and their efforts were for nothing😞 i followed them on social media and they express how toxic the industry really is and that being trainees left them with mental issues. I pray for the children who debuted and those who didn’t debut.😔🙏
