to see jisung more i def recommend watching his fancams for both smoothie and unknown! we barely see him for both choreos but his fancams are truly insane

totally agree! Unknown choreo needed a little more of feeling and elongated moves!! That quick feet move it reminds me to Taemin?SHINee? ahhh i can't remember what was it!!

not mad at the song choice but i dont like the choreo... they could have made something much better elongated movements, big pictures, member interaction and pairings, the list goes on as someone who (not professional) has performed in some school musicals, i bet they felt a bit awkward standing there with so little movements, cause i would

@@potatosaladd the choreo is quite underwhelming but it honestly grew on me but obv there still will be some awkward parts.. i just wish they couldve done something more w the choreo 😭

I definitely agree with the Unknown choreo. After you mentioned black swan, I even thought of the bridge part in roar by the boyz or even the lyrical hip hop that enhypen incorporates into their choreo. It needed more interaction and levels to give it some dimension and texture. I commend them though for trying something new. I still love the song, I think it’s my fave of theirs thus far!

Many of the members were also worried about the choreography for Unknown if it was picked. I honestly felt that their meeting was just taking too long so 3 of the 6 gave in because they knew Mark wasn't giving up. Just see how quickly Haechan walked shows just how long they were arguing haha.

completely agree with the choreo opinion for Unknown! considering the message of the song as well as the flow of it, i imagined the pictures they have for the choreo would be big and flowy, showing dynamics and soft approach. especially for the chorus, i truly felt like they could’ve utilized the stage more like dividing into two based on who’s part it was or even traveling from one side to the other, etc. nonetheless, as usual, appreciate the reaction Micah! ❤

I agree about the "Unkown" choreo - they just need a little more grace and attention to making the most of the nuance of each move. As you said, they're not used to this style and I also think that in concert, this is meant to be a time for them to get a little rest and focus on vocals. This link is to an edit a fan made of the meeting DREAM had about what song to couple with Smoothie. Not only is it really funny, but in it, Jeno says he thinks a choreo like the one for "Diggity" would be good. Sameee i really wanted a better choreo for unknown. I love that song so much that i just cant help to be a bit disappointed about the choreo. Like you said, they dont feel lost in it (except the last outro bit was the best part since they FINALLY look dreamful and hopeful). As it's a pretty calm song, im fine with more "posing" kind of movements, but for the most of the song they're kind of walking and standing with very few hand movements and it felt a bit boring...

dont get me started on the bullying renjun situation... hes always been super skinny to the point of stylists having to tie his pants on the back so they fit him and some dumbasses are now making him feel insecure on going on diets bc hes fat???? fat where? Plus I know Renjun is strong and will hopefully start ignoring, just a few days ago he schooled a sasaeng that tried to call idols lazy and said that they have it easy... Renjun fukin burned her to the ground. Like if youre going to fight someone in nct, Renjun is NOT the one to pick bc he IS fighting you. About the video, I agree 100% with you!

Since you have mentioned Jaemin's footwork do you think he would fit better as the center in the last chorus more than Jeno? I felt like that part should went to Jisung since he's main dancer but at the same time I don't really know anything about dancing so idk. What do you think?

I think so! But then again there’s nothing wrong having even stronger dancers on the sides for a fuller picture I guess ?

Don't worry about YG stans hating, they're probably adolescents with unlimited access to internet. About NCT, I honestly don't think the outfits they're wearing in the Unknown performance really help, I think if they wore something like Loona members wore in Butterfly performances it would help to give that dramatic aura that the song has. Also, I'm sorry but what is Mark even wearing......

That first set of outfits (later performance wardrobes were much better than this first day) definitely wasn't my favourite. However, I think I was too charmed by the fact they all wear a red thread of fate around their pinkie fingers during the performance to even much care about the clothing... hahaha
