no, not really. I watched this video on yt about an interview with a ex-sasaeng and she said most of them are depressed or seriously mentally disturbed. I also saw post from a different ex-sasaeng and she said most of them worked as pr*sititutes and the reason they were so addicted to these idols are because they think that when the idols say things like 'I love you!' or 'fandom name are my girlfriends/boyfriends' they mean it romantically or take it seriously because they are so lonely. I used to hate sasaengs a lot but I don't anymore, I just pity them...

@Mãrlïâ bæ well money goes differently depending what it’s earned by, some of the money gets invested into concert/world tour preparations, comeback preparations, album preparations, and those type of things, a certain amount goes to each artist like a salary, the other part goes to royalty and to whoever helped make the songs/album some of the money goest towards the sm building for better equipment and and that type of stuff, also the nct dorm and stuff Basically all the money nct makes gets used for nct (like for nct concerts for nct staff for nct members for nct practice for nct albums for nct props etc) This is all i know. there probably other ways they divide money and other things they use nct’s money for, what i explained is just was i *think* because i have seen others work in other companies (not music companies just other work companies and movie companies etc) so this is how i assume they distribute the money that nct makes. I might be wrong or they might do it a different way but this is the way they *probably* do it hope this helped a little, sorry for my bad grammar I wrote this in a rush lol

@Mãrlïâ bæ, also i heard nct got like body guard upgrades and stuff when they go places so they don’t get attacked, the problem is that the company isn’t suing or blacklisting certain people that call and bother nct a lot. I think the reason is because there is so many people bothering nct that it’s a hassle for the company to protect nct (but like it’s literally the companies job to protect their artist so that makes no sense) and the other reason might be because they just don’t care but idk 🤷‍♀️ it might also be that SM *are* doing stuff it’s just not enough cuz no one listens or smth?? idk

They're calling via kakaotalk. Works on WiFi, in flight mode. The members do block them. The members get new numbers all the time. The ssangs find the new numbers, or buy them from other ssangs, and also get new numbers that aren't blocked yet. I get that you're trying to solve this problem💚. But it should not be the members responsibility to keep these people away. It should be on the stalkers, and the company that is supposed to protect the members' safety.

i really agree on the calls, i was watching the vlive at that time and i felt so sad because they still have to be cheerful in front of us even though they were being harassed by sasaeng calls. however, just to not misunderstand his actions, Jeno didn't report any comments, he merely pressed cancel. it does happen when you're scrolling and it accidentally pops up to report comment. you'll have to choose 'cancel' (left) or 'report' (right) and since he was continuously clicking on the left option, it means he pressed cancel. also, if he were to report a comment, another pop-up will appear confirming the report. otherwise, thanks for all these informations, i've been reporting a few korean sasaeng accounts myself. really appreciate your work!!

Aww...Im an new czennie and I really felt bad and angry while watching this. Its so frustrating to watch Seeing him still beinh so calm about it and still keeps on smiling... If Renjun and Jaemin where there they will definitely grab Jenos phone again and perfectly deal with it... honestly its so heartwarming and cute how Both Renjun and Jaemin Protects Jeno by quickly snatching Jenos phone when they saw saesangs keeps on calling him.. Honestly Jeno is so sweet thats why he really needs Renjun and Jaemin or the other members in this kind of situations...

Sasaengs call them on vLive is because they want to make sure to check if it's the right number of the idol before selling it. For example, if Jeno's phone infront of the camera then saesang will call him to make sure. And then the sassing will go on insta/twitter/Facebook/etc. to sell it for like 20$-50$. So the best thing to prevent is turn off their phones and get it out of the camera so sassing cannot check if it's the right number. The boys keep changing it so if they just hide their phones, I don't think they will receive that many calls/day.

I'm not even an NCT fan I just clicked on this video because it's a very important topic to highlight. Sasaengs can REALLY be *threats* to idols, physically (we all remember what happened with TVXQ's Yunho, etc...) and mentally. They invade their privacy and make them become more protective about themselves and their lives because they're afraid that people could hurt them and get a reaction out of it. *THAT IS NOT HEALTHY, FOR BOTH SIDES.* They should respect them and give them space to be, so idols could become softer and be more open about them. Loving and supporting someone is okay, having an obsession and harassing them is not !! Those sasaengs really need to get their priorities straight. All my support to NCT though💪💛

In America, your phone company can help you make a "trap" on harassing phone calls. It's not free, and you have to set it up before receiving the unwanted calls, but it lets you basically make a digital log of harassing phone calls so you can turn the log over to the authorities. There are also apps you can buy that can help block unwanted numbers. But from all that I hear about sasaengs, the authorities never get involved because of lax stalking laws. And some sasaengs would be crazy enough to keep changing their phone number each time their other one got blocked or reported, so I'm not sure if South Korea is going to set up any new laws and resources to protect stalking victims anytime soon unless people press the government to act.
