The idea of Taeyong descending was a creation of Lee Soo-Man. Taeyong mentioned this in his last Vlive. It was genius. NCT2020 slayed this.. felt like a Broadway musical to me

Taeyong is more the leader of keeping track of all the members and schedules and making sure he's a liaison between company/managers and the members. Just being sure everyone is where they're supposed to be, behaving as they should and doing what they should and have what they need. He's also the person they can all look to for assistance. As far as choreography and performance, along with the choreographers, main and lead dancers are tasked with making sure they get the choreo down and to help the other members get it. Taeyong is the a main dancer and of course THE center of NCT but in a routine like Resonance, it wouldn't just be up to him to monitor the dance. It would be him and all the main and lead dancers (Yuta, Ten, Jisung - when he's not injured, Jeno, Jaemin, Jungwoo etc) to make sure all the member get what the choreographers want the performance to be. The really amazing thing about Taeyong though is that he is so attuned to his job as leader and he cares so much that he remembers the tiniest things and is usually last to complete his schedules. It seems that for the 2020 project other members of the Hyung line like Taeil, Doyong, Johnny, Kun and Yuta (with Shotaro) helped with wrangling everyone. He'll definitely be able to relax a bit now that NCT 2020 is finished and everyone goes back to their main units and he's got just 127 to keep track of day to day. He can give WayV fully back to Kun and Dream can manage their day to day chaos again 😂😂. He's an amazing leader and truly the ultimate center. SM struck gold with him.

Well said, I'm crying😭. Taeyong is not just an ordinary leader 'coz he's a leader of kpop group who has 23 members. It's the first time in kpop industry that the group has 23 members and I think it will not just 23 becuase NCT is limitless, they're unique. Taeyong as a leader is such a big responsibility that's why he's doing his best for his team, he always make sure that everything's okay with his babies (members). I'm so thankful for those people who appreciate Taeyong's hardwork and talents. You all he is a responsible leader, a talented human being, freakin handsome, hot, cutie bubu and more. The camera work for this performance was kinda terrible and didn’t do TENs fabulous spin justice
