@@wow400 all SM trainees train in all aspects despite the position they were given so I am pretty sure he still was trained in singing as well even though they focused more on his rapping. I actually believe Mark is a really good vocalist ,the clip in which he was struggling wasn’t even about a singing ability but about register. His voice naturally sits lower, he has a quite deep voice and for example in Hot Sauce that part is super high ,even Chenle who is in fact a vocalist was struggling with it so it is not about skills really.

I sincerely thank you; I am so sick and tired of people with amazing vocal technique being under praised compared to a person straining their vocals often for a high note. It's honestly sad to me that we've made a good vocalist a person who can sing high notes disregarding technique.
